The environment is elegant, with a lovely little courtyard downstairs. The courtyard's style is truly fantastic; it's so relaxing to sit there after a tiring day of sightseeing. The service is impeccable; the owner is incredibly thoughtful. I had planned to ask them to turn on the underfloor heating an hour beforehand, but to my surprise, they had already thoughtfully turned it on for us without us even asking. The room facilities are also very comprehensive, with smart home features throughout, and it's spotlessly clean. The owner clearly put a lot of effort into the decor, and all the toiletries are high-quality. In the morning, the owner provided us with their homemade yak noodle soup, which was incredibly delicious and flavorful. Moreover, the owner is a wonderful person. Since dogs aren't allowed in the scenic area, the owner even helped us look after our dog and turned on the air conditioning for our furry friend, fearing it might get cold! Truly, truly exceptional!

This is a Tang Dynasty-style guesthouse hidden deep in the village of Gulgou. It's about a 20-minute drive from Gulgou town. We arrived late at night in the dark, and the owner came down from the roadside to help us with our luggage. The guesthouse is built into the mountainside, so there are steps leading up and down, which can be a bit tiring. However, the view is absolutely stunning. Opening the windows and doors, you can see the distant colorful forests and snow-capped mountains, completely unobstructed. Every detail in the rooms is exquisite and refined. The carpets, stools, beds, washbasins, etc., were all carefully designed by the owner and handcrafted by artisans. They are truly unique and cannot be replicated. In the evening, we warmed ourselves by burning firewood in the fireplace. Sitting around the coffee table on the carpet, drinking tea and wine, we weren't cold at all. We chatted for a long time, sharing our views on Tang Dynasty history and modern society. The owner was very knowledgeable, and we listened attentively. At night, with the electric blankets on, we weren't cold either. The guesthouse is quiet, far from the hustle and bustle. We slept in until we naturally woke up in the morning. Breakfast was simple: sweet potato porridge, eggs, shumai, pickled vegetables, etc. It wasn't fancy, but it felt very much like ordinary rural life. We only stayed one day, but I must say, it's worth staying longer to experience a different way of life.

This hotel is quite good; I booked it after reading the reviews. The surrounding views are nice, and it's quite close to the scenic area. Parking is convenient, and the service is excellent. The front desk even helped with my luggage. The breakfast has a wide variety and is delicious, and the hot spring is also great. It's very comfortable to soak in it after a day of driving.

Not cold at all. Environment: The room is quite spacious and clean. The toiletries and towels are all disposable, which is also a plus for hygiene. Service: The owner is very welcoming and attentive, constantly checking if the breakfast is getting cold! The cats and dogs are super friendly! There's even a small heater under the owner's dining table, which is a thoughtful touch. The vanity mirror and glass were spotless. Location: It's conveniently located near Lixian County town, making our itinerary easy to manage. There's also a private parking lot 🅿️! We'll definitely come again.

The room is clean with no strange odors, and the facilities are complete. There's also a laundry room, and the underground parking is very convenient, complete with charging stations. The butler service is warm and attentive, and the food and accommodation quality are top-notch. It’s an absolutely fantastic place for a summer getaway and relaxation, highly recommended! The food is also great, especially the cold dishes—a must-try!

I arrived late that night, and most of the surrounding hotels were fully booked. This was a B&B, and the decor felt quite new. It had a smart home system throughout, with a smart toilet in the room, underfloor heating, and central heating. The hotel offered free parking, a children's play area, and a hot spring, though the hot spring closed around 10:30 PM. The front desk also provided complimentary fruit and self-service tea, as well as free disposable toiletries. The facilities are comparable to those of a mid-to-high-end chain hotel. Breakfast was available, and while the variety wasn't extensive, there were noodles, congee, buns, and dumplings – enough to fill you up. Overall, the service was excellent. The only minor drawback was the cleanliness; it wasn't quite up to par. The remote control holder was dusty, and there was dust on the tables. Improving the cleanliness would make it absolutely perfect.

Great location, new and clean facilities, and a super comfy bed with a heated blanket under the bed sheet so no more dry air from a heater. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight was definitely the toilet — the best I’ve seen in China, with a warm seat! Will definitely come back and highly recommend this place. 👍

We arrived early around 11.30am and the staff kindly allowed us to check in. Since the room wasn’t ready yet, we left our luggage and walked to Bipenggou Park, which is only about 10 minutes away. The room has floor heating, making it very cozy and warm despite the cold weather. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone planning to overnight in Bipenggou.

The room was quite spacious. The hotel's location is rather secluded, which means it can be a bit hard to find at night. The biggest highlight of the hotel is definitely its backyard garden, which is clearly well-maintained. There's a good variety of villas. I heard there are many hot spring pools, but we didn't try them out as I was worried about my family getting altitude sickness. Overall, the lighting is quite dim. I think it's more suited for elderly guests looking for a relaxing retreat than for families with kids, haha.

[Traveling with family] The hotel is a bit vintage. The room is very big, the bed is big, and there is a lot of space. The bedroom balcony gives us a view of the mountains and the water. It is very peaceful and quiet. It is a good place to sit and relax. There are some limitations regarding bathroom equipment. You should bring your own just in case. Ready-made towels. If there are not enough, you can ask for more.
