HhidinginplainsightWe had to scramble to Jinzhou due to medical emergency from overseas. We happened to book this hotel in a great hurry and it was truly the only thing that helped us preserve our sanity at a very fraught time.
It was also our first time using trip.com as I could not find much options in Jinzhou on ***********, my long time app of choice. I was worried about how things would turn out since I didn't know if I could trust trip.com or fully research my options as we had to rush to pack as well. As it turned out, I'm 100% sure that no other hotel in 4th tier Jinzhou city could have given us the experience, comfort and ambience that Manxin Hotel did. I don't say that lightly as a seasoned international traveller who's stayed at many types of hotels/guesthouses/motels over the years, it takes *a lot* to impress us enough to earn my praise and endorsement in a review.
Manxin Hotel felt like a small boutique hotel feel with 3 floors of rooms. It was only opened in Jan 2024, so it really feels nice and new with a high ceiling foyer /lounge area. The rooms are huge with huge floor to ceiling windows. Although it's next to a train station, the triple glazed windows amazingly cut out most of the noise. The beds were very comfortable, with great toiletries, great Laifun hairdryer and free drinks replenished daily. Even the tea bags they provided were of great quality. We stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks so we were very happy to be able to use the complimentary washing machine service which saved me the hassle of having to hand wash my clothes daily in my room! There were some drainage issues in the shower but the hotel staff did try to sort out the problem. There's also a spacious gym available for those who are fitness fanatics. The hotel breakfast had great variety with quality coffee (not easy to find good coffee in China).
They even had a singer in the foyer 3 nights a week. Though I usually love listening to live music, the singers were students who were not quite able to deliver a performance befitting the old world charm and ambience of the hotel foyer.
Any hotel can have the best of facilities but often fall short on the service front. Since we were staying there for 2 weeks, we often had to deal with the hotel staff on a daily basis. We found them to be very competent, sincere, friendly, understanding and helpful for the most part, willing to do all that they could to assist us during our time of considerable distress and strain due to our family emergency. Even the housekeeping staff and the lady clearing plates in the breakfast area were warm and helpful!
As foreigners , we would sometimes need help with paperwork, scanning, photocopying, and other assistantance communicating with the outside world to make arrangements for international medical evacuation, WeChat/Alipay tutorials etc. We will always be grateful to the staff for all their efforts to assist in our time of need. In particular, we would like to thank Sales manager XY Yang and duty manager Hong for their tireless assistance and consideration.
If we were to go to Jinzhou again, Manxin hotel would absolutely be our only choice.

The world's rare tide overpass, two times a day, the tide into the sea, the tide into the road, the mountain visit the ancient, the shore to catch the sea, a city of mountains and sea scenery. The hotel booked for the trip to Bijia Mountain exceeded expectations. The location has nothing to say. It is directly walking to the entrance of the overpass. You don't have to get up early to hurry. The sea view room has a wide view, you can enjoy the sunrise of the Bohai Sea while lying on the bed, the rooms are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, the front desk service is warm, the price is super high, and the family travel is highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean and tidy, the floor heating was very good, the bedding was clean and comfortable, the service was very good, there was an underground parking space, we arrived late that day, the hotel's dedicated parking space was gone, the hotel asked me to park in other parking spaces, and I was reimbursed after checking out. The fare, the hotel location is good, very easy to find, I will stay here next time I come to Jinzhou!

The customer service staff were incredibly kind and approachable, not at all cold or stiff, and patiently answered all my questions. This is the most basic condition for good business. The breakfast was very rich, clean, and hygienic. This is a leisure spot that's highly recommended for a stay.

DDjed SpenceI had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. The check-in process was quick and effortless.
The room was spotless, beautifully designed, and very comfortable — especially the bed, which made it hard to get up in the morning! The amenities were top-notch: strong Wi-Fi, great air conditioning, and everything I needed for a relaxing stay.
The location was perfect — close to restaurants, shops, and transport, yet still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh and delicious options every morning.
What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the staff’s genuine care for guests. They truly made me feel at home. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area — and I’ll definitely be coming back!

LLushang50Jinzhou transit, there are not many parking spaces in the hotel, parked in the parking lot not far from the side, the room size is OK, facing the street but fortunately the glass is soundproof, relatively clean and tidy, overall OK.

GGuest UserThe room is large and the decoration is average, but it is very new and clean. It is a good place in Yixian County. It is very convenient to go anywhere. You can walk to Fengguo Temple, Dalinghe Wetland Park, Antaimen, and the morning market in ten minutes. There are a lot of food nearby, basically within 1 km. Disadvantages, sound insulation, wake up by the sound of the horn outside in the morning

I have finished talking about the good things. Let me talk about the bad things! ! ! ! The most basic sleeping in the hotel is impossible! There is a sewer pipe above my head. The sound of flushing every few minutes. The sound of knocking on the door and calling people in the middle of the night when ordering takeout in the next room can be heard clearly. I couldn't sleep well for a few minutes at night. It felt like I was sleeping on a big bunk bed. The environment in the room was wasted!

GGuest UserThey don’t have reception on first floor. Feel worried when enter first floor nothing was there luckily i just enter the lift to go up and see. Check in take long time, the lady don’t know anything about foreigners. When she want to print my passport, the printer was not working. Later on she used another worse printer and printed all my passport pages. She even don’t know just to print last entry date page and information page. It takes almost 20-25 minutes to check in. In room amenities they mentioned there is a bathtub in bathroom, but very small bathroom, no bathtub. The television have just few channels working and even they use 2010 era television. Overall, I really feel unsatisfied.

This B&B completely exceeded my expectations. I was captivated the moment I walked in—the overall feel was effortlessly artistic. The warm floor lamps featured niche illustrations, and even the patterns on the throw pillows were ingenious, yet without the awkward, internet-famous feel of a boutique. It felt like staying at a friend's house.
The amenities are truly remarkable. The projector is incredibly clear, making watching movies in bed at night feel like being in a private theater. All the appliances and toiletries are brand new, without the tired, old B&B feel. The most surprising thing was the value for money. Compared to other hotels in the same area and with similar amenities, which often cost over a thousand yuan, this one cost half the price of a plane ticket. It was a steal!
Although it's located in an older residential area and requires climbing stairs, it was incredibly quiet. I was woken by the sun in the morning, not by noise. The room was spotlessly clean, even the bathroom was spotless. I've already bookmarked this place and will definitely stay here next time I'm in this city!
