On a weekend trip, I booked the Muyue Hotel, which is close to Xitang Ancient Town. Although it's not a large hotel, it's clean, elegant, and the service is warm and attentive. The lake-view room offered a truly delightful sight and is highly recommended. Also, the lady at the front desk was very helpful and thoughtful; she can assist guests in accessing the ancient town's South Gate directly through the hotel's side entrance. From there, you can enjoy the江南 (Jiangnan) style garden and lake views all the way to the main scenic area, the Yanyu Corridor. It’s perfect for a leisurely stroll to take in the sights and colors of Xitang Ancient Town. I highly recommend staying at Muyue Hotel.

Right across from the hotel is an organic farm; it's perfect for a leisurely walk if the weather permits and has a lovely French chateau ambiance. Because you can enter and exit the scenic spot at will by swiping your face within 24 hours, you can sleep in late the next day and rush to the entrance of the scenic spot for the last time.

The B&B's location is super convenient and easy to find, very close to the scenic spots. The breakfast was also really rich and delicious. We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting.
