"The room was quite clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast – the wontons were delicious! The food at the tourist attractions was universally bad. The 'Fugui Xiaojiangnan' (I think that's what it was called) that the front desk recommended was terrible. And all those highly-rated local restaurants online, like 'Tianxia Diyimian' (First Noodle Under Heaven) – oh my god, they were awful, I have no idea how they got their scores. The only meal I actually enjoyed was the hotel breakfast. Five stars for the staff, they were all very enthusiastic and helpful! 👍 The public facilities, though, were pretty mediocre. Not even as good as an Orange Hotel."

"I brought my elderly parents to Xitang for Women's Day, and a friend recommended this hotel inside the scenic area. It truly has a beautiful Chinese garden design, with winding paths that create a wonderful sense of seclusion. We stayed in a balcony room, which even had a swing chair. It was incredibly pleasant to swing and chat with my family as the sun set. The room's wet/dry separation design was very practical, and the room service was exceptionally attentive. It was also very convenient to walk into the core scenic area. We had a panoramic view of Xitang bathed in sunshine and later, illuminated by fishing boats and lights. Watching people in traditional Hanfu attire wander through the scenic area felt like traveling a thousand years back in time, perfectly embodying the creative concept behind the 'Guangnian' (Lightyear) Hotel name!"

"Traveled with my child for two days during the May Day holiday. This hotel offers great value for money, with all dining, entertainment, and activities available on-site. The best part was the parent-child activities, which were a real lifesaver for families with kids, freeing up our hands completely! Most of these activities wrapped up before 4 PM, so I'd suggest adding some options for after 4 PM to make it even more perfect. The service was also excellent. Upon check-in, I added Front Office Manager Shi Liu on WeChat. She provided one-on-one assistance for our 3-day, 2-night stay, helping me arrange activities and book meals – everything was handled perfectly! The main thing is that my little one had a blast, and we'll definitely be back. The hotel is close to Jiashan South Station and there's a 'Jiashan Yueli' nearby with lovely night views. The room was spacious and very new; we booked a themed room this time, and my child absolutely loved it. We'll return again if we get the chance. Highly recommended! [Strong]"

"***November 2025 Stay Experience*** I received a call immediately after booking to confirm my arrival time and arrange ticket purchases (discounts available, free for seniors over 70). A friendly staff member picked me up and helped with my luggage; they responded promptly to any questions. Regarding the environment, I really loved the courtyard and cabins. Sitting in the courtyard watching the swaying trees and listening to the wind and birdsong was the epitome of idyllic living. However, the reality is that there are mosquitoes, and it gets quite chilly in late autumn and early winter. The duplex layout was a highlight when I chose the room, but I wouldn't recommend it for older people. Getting up at night requires climbing stairs to the first floor, which isn't very safe. The bathroom doesn't have a door, so water splashes onto the sink area. There's no absorbent mat either; I suggest improvements. Also, the air conditioner is extremely noisy, but when it's off, it's very cold and damp, and the blankets feel damp. The staff member mentioned that the noise seems particularly loud when it's quiet here. I explained the situation to the young lady, and she changed my room to ”West Window Dream” for the second night. Although the atmosphere and design were slightly inferior, the standing air conditioner was powerful, and she even added a blanket and an electric blanket, which satisfied my comfort needs! "I booked a standard king room for my husband's birthday, and the hotel upgraded us to a courtyard room for free. Delia was great with the communication and service, and even sent a birthday cake. The shower pressure was amazing, and the room was quite spacious. The hotel isn't huge, but the overall environment is very comfortable. The only downside was the mosquitoes; being by the water and on the ground floor, it's probably unavoidable and seasonal."

"I booked a double room, located 8 kilometers from Xitang Ancient Town. The hotel was quite clean, and the 18th-floor room had a bathtub, smart toilet, separate shower and toilet, and convenient Wi-Fi. Breakfast on the first floor was quite plentiful, as expected of a star-rated hotel. There are supermarkets, Luckin Coffee, and restaurants nearby, making it quite convenient. The 2 PM check-out time was negotiable, which was considerate. Recommended."

"Finally, I stayed here on my own. I'd always booked for clients before, but this time, I brought a friend along to experience a river-view room in the heart of Xitang. It was worth the trip. We also saw the flower boats. There weren't many, only six, but they were perfect for the setting. Interlude: I asked the landlady to borrow two beautiful fire goblets, and then my friend dropped them on the floor. The first thing the landlady asked was if we had any scratches, and she didn't ask for compensation."
