Shuixieshanshe Homestay is a relatively new lodging started by a young couple. The room we stayed in was clean and bright. The lodging is value for money and the young couple managing it goes out of the way to make the place homely and comfortable for the guests. The owner provides complimentary pick-up and drop-off at the Hengshan West Railway station. My elderly mom was ill during the trip and the owner went out of the way to send us to the TCM clinic. We extended our stay for another day due to the kindness and courtesy of the owners. Shuixieshanshe Homestay is within 5 minutes of walking distance to the Grand Temple of Mount Heng ( Nányuè Dàmiào) which makes it an excellent base from which to explore Mount Heng (衡山)

I chose this place with my friends. It's a beautiful spot. I forgot to take pictures of the beautiful exterior, so I only took pictures of the room. I really like them, so I'm posting them. It was my child's birthday, so I contacted the hotel ahead of time. They gave us a complimentary room upgrade, helped decorate the room, and even sent over fruits, snacks, and a lovely birthday message! We were thrilled! Upon check-in, they thoughtfully offered us a cup of hot tea. When we headed out for some sightseeing, they recommended Nanyueli and kindly lent us an umbrella. In the evening, they even brought us a late-night snack (porridge and eggs). The 2-meter king-size bed room was extremely comfortable, and our entire family was completely satisfied!

The toilet and shower are separated from wet and dry, the corners are clean and there are no dead ends, the toilet and blue cleaning liquid make people feel very clean, the toilet has small windows, and the ventilation is very good and there is no smell. In addition, there are TVs, small tables, sinks, lamp mirrors, the equipment is very complete and full of details, just as comfortable as in your own home. The location of the homestay is also super convenient. It is just behind the temple. If you want to burn incense and worship Buddha, you can go to the first floor to find your grandmother to buy incense. The price is really convenient. Because there is a short distance from the main road, the noise is very small, the view outside the window is good, if you come by car, you can contact the boss to reserve a parking space. This price is really the best homestay I have ever stayed in! If I insist on the shortcomings, I can live for a day, and I will have the opportunity to come with my friends in the future, and I will stay here!

the receptionist is good very helpful. i wasnt well when i went there so i didnt go out much. the receptionist helped me get a taxi as i dont have weixin to book it. very grateful for her help. the hotel location is good close to shopping center plus lots of resto around. the room was small and smell of smoking when i came so i need to open the window. the floors are not well insulated. i can hear whatever upstairs and downstairs doing. woke up at 2am by the occupants upstairs whom keep playing with the luggage? keep walking around?? it happen a few times.if i can suggest you better put carpet on the floor to reduce the noise.
