My overall experience at Holiday Inn Suxian was very satisfying. There is also a small convenience store in the lobby (not 24 hours), and on the first floor of the same building you’ll find a supermarket, bakery shops, and food options, which is very convenient. Although the hotel is not located in the downtown area, this actually turned out to be an advantage—it’s quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay. The biggest plus for this hotel is that it is just 850 meters from the tourist attraction for which we came. The GaoYi Ridge, also known as Feitianshan (飞天山高椅岭景区) Scenic Spot. This is a small family run hotel which does not have an elevator. But the owners help you to carry the luggage up. The room is small but adequate, the furniture and bathroom fittings well appointed. The toilet kit was standard, though I normally do not use the disposable toiletries. There is a restaurant a stone's throw away from the hotel, which served us adequate food even late at night. The biggest disadvantage for this hotel is that it is about an hour's drive from the Chenzhou West Railway Station. But that did not deter us because our purpose was to go sightseeing for the GaoYi Ridge Danxia Landform.

The overall atmosphere is quite grand. When you check in in the afternoon, you will be given white fungus and lotus seeds. It is close to Yuhou Street. There are also two breakfasts and free parking. Overall, it is OK, but the room is not very soundproof.
