New Hotels in Istanbul

"The most honest review of Hotel DE BONTE. We stayed in Istanbul from 24.05.2026 to 29.05.2026. We booked the hotel in advance on Trip.com and it was a great choice. The hotel is new, not too big, and very cozy! The room was clean and comfortable, and we were especially impressed with the bathroom – everything was brand new, and the shower stall was spotless. Since the hotel is new, there are minor details like the lack of a shelf in the shower, but these are small things. The hotel manager, Burcu, is incredibly hospitable. Guests are welcomed warmly, and she's ready to resolve any minor issues (we needed a needle and thread, and it was sorted out very quickly). A special thanks to the housekeeper, Maryam; our room was cleaned perfectly every day, and towels were changed daily! Breakfast is included and it completely met our expectations! There's a wide selection of cheeses, jams, chocolate spreads, two types of delicious sausage, lentil soup, various egg options (boiled, or you can order hot omelets), menemen, sausages, pastries, pickled olives, and dried tomatoes served as a salad. The selection is very decent. There are also assorted salad leaves and bell peppers. Tea, coffee, and juices are available. We never left breakfast hungry! The hotel left a wonderful impression! "The hotel's check-in time is after 3 PM. If you want to check in earlier, the front desk will tell you there are other room types available, but they come with an extra charge. I had read reviews saying that street-facing rooms were noisy, so when I checked in, I asked if they could assign me a quiet room. Again, they said it would cost extra. Basically, everything I asked for came with an additional fee. I calculated that it would have ended up costing almost 1200 a night, which felt like a complete lack of service. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water. On my first day, I was super tired from not sleeping much on the plane and didn't notice the water refill station near the elevator. I initially thought the hotel was so stingy that the reusable glass bottles provided were all empty… Upon check-in, they required a 7500 Lira deposit, which they said would be automatically refunded 1-2 weeks after check-out. The hotel's location is decent, near Taksim Square. Just across the street are Istiklal Avenue and Galata Tower. After Galata Tower, it's less than a half-hour walk to Galata Bridge, and then you're in the Old City. There's an M2 metro station and bus stops nearby. It felt like most of their main attractions, like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and Topkapi Palace, are all clustered together. Breakfast was partly self-serve, but you had to order coffee, drinks, and omelets from a waiter. I couldn't quite figure out what else was available for breakfast. After eating the same breakfast for five days, I couldn't stomach it anymore. The street-facing rooms were indeed quite noisy. Besides the mosque's call to prayer, there were constant ambulance or police sirens, car horns, and the sounds of people having fun at bars. If you're a light sleeper, I'd definitely recommend choosing a courtyard-facing room. 😂"

"Nothing much around the hotel but it really is convenient for those who just need a night there before catching a flight. The hotel is clean, modern and new and there are lots of people around so it doesn't feel secluded, even though the hotel is not really located near any shops. Food in the hotel should be sufficient. Extremely easy to get to the airport as well. The service staff were efficient and helpful."

"New building, fresh rooms. We rented a family room (apartment) that was 100 sq.m. The room was clean and new, with a washing machine and dryer. All kitchen appliances were there, but no cutlery or other kitchenware. The breakfast was good. There's a pool with an urban view of the city. There's a hammam and a sauna (though it would have been better if there weren't). The sauna is tiny, 2.5 sq.m. The hammam (steam room) is small, and the steam room was smelly, so we couldn't use it. Conclusion: It's suitable for an overnight stay. New renovation, good breakfast. All other activities are better done elsewhere."

"This niche hotel was a delightful surprise on our trip; it's incredibly charming and elegant, and every staff member we encountered was exceptionally friendly. My son and I absolutely loved it! The only minor issue was some noise while trying to sleep, but we were so exhausted we barely noticed once we lay down. The breakfast was excellent, the bed was super comfortable, and the views from the window were beautiful. We'll definitely be back!"

"The hotel is brand new, which makes staying here very pleasant. Breakfast is on the simpler side but it’s fine. My only complaint is that they didn’t seem to vacuum the room when cleaning. Overall, the staff is friendly and I had a nice stay."

They allowed us a late check-out, which we're very grateful for. The only thing we didn't like was the neighborhood; it was very dirty!"
