New Hotels in Rome

"Check-out is at 11 AM, but check-in isn't until 3 PM. You really need to plan your time accordingly, as the staff here are quite inflexible. It's been scorching hot in Rome these past few days. I booked several nights at this hotel, and they gave me a room with a faulty shower. When I asked to switch rooms in the afternoon, they refused, telling me to wait until tomorrow for someone to fix it. I could see there were other rooms available in their system, but the staff member then told me not to stare at their screen. She then switched to look for check-in information, trying to find my reservation. I had already told them that the faucet in room XX was broken. I then had to remind her that the check-in list she was looking at was for August, which is why she couldn't find my July reservation. In the end, I escalated the issue to Trip.com customer service and fixed the shower head myself. The front desk staff then belatedly informed me that I could switch rooms – *sigh*. Thanks to Trip.com for their proactive handling. I'm also leaving this review as a heads-up to my fellow Chinese travelers: stay safe when staying abroad and actively defend your rights!"

"I booked this hotel through Trip.com more than 20 days in advance, paying around 2300 RMB per night, and was traveling with my child. On the night of check-in, the hotel informed me that the room only accommodated two people and charged an additional 40 Euros per night, plus a tourist tax of 15 Euros per person per day. In total, I paid an extra 250 Euros upon checkout. However, on the day of check-in, I discovered that the same room type was only a little over 1000 RMB per night. You can see the Trip.com price screenshot from when I checked in. By the time I checked in, it was already past 11:00 PM, and due to the time difference, Trip.com no longer displayed that night's price. Moreover, the official hotel price was not as expensive as Trip.com's initial quote. After negotiation, Trip.com refunded me 1000 RMB per night for the subsequent three nights, based on the price screenshots I provided. However, they did not refund me for the first night, claiming the hotel was fully booked. The first image shows 8889 RMB for the four nights I booked."

"Wonderful apartment, I really liked it. It's spacious, bright, and clean. I'd love to come back again. As for the downsides, the shower gel ran out almost immediately, one towel had a hole in it, and the shower in the bathroom leaks directly onto the floor as there's nothing to stop the water."

"The hotel pleasantly surprised us with an upgrade to a larger and more comfortable room, which we truly appreciated. Thank you very much for this thoughtful gesture! The hotel itself is brand new, but in our opinion, the room layout could be more practical. In the Junior Suite, there's no door separating the bedroom, and the bathroom area, especially the sink, is quite small. The floors look beautiful, but unfortunately, they didn't seem to be cleaned thoroughly. We also noticed an unpleasant sewage smell in the room itself (not in the bathroom), so we had to keep the windows open. Another thing worth mentioning is that there's a metro line running underneath the hotel. I expected the noise to be noticeable only on the lower floors, but surprisingly, I could clearly hear the trains even from the sixth floor when I was trying to fall asleep. The bed was very comfortable, and we slept really well. Breakfast is a typical Italian breakfast. We particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed carrot and celery juices. However, it would be nice to have a greater variety of hot dishes, such as omelets or fried eggs, as scrambled eggs are currently the only hot egg option. Finally, I'd like to thank the hotel staff. Everyone was exceptionally polite, welcoming, and always happy to help. Thank you very much for making our stay enjoyable!"

"A cozy hotel without breakfast, but they offer a promotion for the neighboring Milano. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location is a bonus: right across from the hotel is a functioning basilica and many delicious restaurants. The street is quiet, even though it's close to the train station, but it's not near the train station. I can confidently recommend it to my friends and subscribers. "It wasn't very clean. There was a lot of noise coming from inside the hotel, not from the street. The walls seemed to be made of plasterboard, so you could hear everything. I also didn't like that I wasn't informed at any point that there was no dining room and you absolutely had to have breakfast in your room."

"1. It's about 1km from Temini train station, but walking with luggage is still a bit tiring because the cobblestone streets and uphill slope aren't very pedestrian-friendly; 2. Free drinking water is provided, which is great; 3. The room isn't big, but the bathroom is quite spacious; 4. I didn't have breakfast, but the front desk said they could provide a packed breakfast if I checked out early, which was very thoughtful; 5. It's a new hotel, so there's still a bit of a renovation smell."
