"I booked a one-night stay in Taichung last minute. The self-check-in was convenient, but it was nice to have staff available too. The lobby was bright and offered self-service drinks. I chose the 6-person female dorm; the beds were fine, though the AC was a bit loud. The bathroom facilities had good water pressure and were clean. Even though there were only three of us in the 6-bed room, one person initially hung wet clothes near their bed, which made the room smell quite strong. I reported it to the front desk, and they moved the clothes to the bathroom. However, she snored all night, which was pretty frustrating, so I didn't get much sleep. I guess multi-person rooms are really a hit or miss."

Other options exceed the hotel's 200 NTD parking subsidy per night.
