Mountain view Hotels in Izu City

A hot spring inn at the foot of the mountain. It's a family-run inn, a clean and cozy two-story building. The hot spring has indoor and outdoor pools, both clean and clear. While soaking, you can smell the fragrance of osmanthus blossoms in the courtyard and hear the chirping of cicadas—it's incredibly relaxing. Dinner starts at 6 pm, beginning with a sip of sweet plum wine, followed by sashimi, tempura, chestnut rice, and small fish grilled over charcoal since the afternoon—every dish reflects the owner's care and home-style flavors. The only downside is that transportation to the area is a bit inconvenient.

The hotel can see the sea from afar, there are two indoor and outdoor hot springs, the service is responsible for a special person, breakfast and dinner are included, Japanese dining is provided, and overall it feels average.

All aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off. Dinner: Super delicious!

The hotel is very old. The location is good and the attractions are nearby. The rooms on the second floor are accessible by stairs. The bathroom is in the corridor and is shared by three rooms. There are two indoor pools for men and women on the first floor. They are very small and can only be used by two people at most. The hot spring water is hot and the scenery outside the breakfast window is beautiful.

While I had no complaints about the hotel, those arriving by car should be aware of the parking. The reservation website also mentions paid parking, but I didn't receive the details until the day of check-in. I received the following email just before check-in: If I had known in advance that a parking fee of up to 2,400 yen would be charged, I would have considered other hotels with free parking. I had planned to go to Izu for a day trip, but ended up staying overnight because the place was bigger than I expected. Dinner and breakfast were buffet style. The yukatas available for rent come in a wide variety of patterns, and just looking at them makes your heart flutter. There is also a game corner and other play areas, so it will surely be fun even if you come with a large group.
