I have stayed in the best homestay, the boss is really very, very good, very sentimental. 1. I have been chatting with the boss before I came. I asked this and that. The boss was very enthusiastic to answer. I felt embarrassed to be polite, so I brought Yunnan and Hunan specialties to the boss. People are mutual. 2. The boss’s cooking sentence is good. My friend and I bought the dishes for the boss to make. I dare to say that it is 10 times better than the outside. Hahaha, I sincerely suggest that you try the boss’s craftsmanship. After eating, I have been talking to us about life and ideals. During the chat, we also sent us beer. The money for the processing materials also reduced me by 20 yuan. 3. Because we came here in the off-season, the boss upgraded us to the best room. We can see the sunrise from the room early in the morning, which is great. 4. The breakfast boss gave us free, and hot juice, really special care. 5. (This one was added by my friend) The boss is very easygoing, kind, and always provides constructive advice. I have always wanted to have a chance to visit Shengsi, the easternmost part of the motherland, to see the sunrise and sunset. I chose Wind Villa because it only takes ten minutes to walk to the East Cliff Cliff to watch the sunrise, and it is very close to the No Man's Village and Xiyang Bay to watch the sunset. In addition, you can watch the sunset and the waves of the sea by sitting in front of the floor-to-ceiling window in the room. As soon as I entered the hotel, I was attracted by the pure white decoration style, which was full of Instagram style. I felt that I would not feel lonely drinking coffee here for an afternoon. The water curtain flower room here is also very romantic and super suitable for taking pictures. Go home, where shall I go? The affairs of life come and go like a shuttle. Wait for leisure to watch the autumn wind and the clear waves of Luo River!

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel on Gouqi Island. The room offered a beautiful sea view, which made our stay especially relaxing and memorable. The location is also very convenient—just a short walk to a lively food street with plenty of dining options to choose from. What truly made this experience exceptional, though, was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. When we unfortunately fell ill during our stay, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. His support during that time meant a lot to us. He also kindly helped arrange transportation, which made everything much easier. To top it off, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift at check-in, which was a lovely touch. I really can’t rate this hotel highly enough—both for the facilities and, most importantly, for the genuine care and generosity shown to us.

I had a very good stay at Healray Collection Zhizhu. The hotel is in a great location by the water, and although it’s a little distance from the wharf, the hotel provides pick-up and drop-off service. They were extremely responsive—even when I only requested a pick-up about half an hour before arrival, everything was arranged smoothly. The room was comfortable with modern facilities, and the hotel feels very well renovated and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent—the cleaning lady was very friendly and would clean the room promptly whenever guests stepped out. Staff were always around and readily available. The reception staff and doorkeeper were also very friendly, always greeting guests with a smile and willing to assist whenever needed. The location is another plus, with only a short walk to the famous Guanyin statue. Overall, a great experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to the area.

This charming hotel, with only 12 rooms, boasts stunning, unobstructed sea views from its ocean-facing accommodations – perfect for catching the sunrise over the East China Sea. The small, distinctive courtyard also has a unique charm, reminiscent of a Mediterranean guesthouse. While the room facilities are quite standard, I highly recommend booking a seaside table early for dinner. You can enjoy the sea breeze, fresh seafood, and the beautiful ocean scenery right at the hotel. Afterward, return to your room and watch the bright moon over the ocean from the courtyard. Breakfast begins at 6 AM, which is perfectly timed to catch the sunrise, take a stroll along Baibu Beach, and then enjoy your meal!

If you're coming to Putuoshan, I highly recommend this hotel, which is just a few minutes' walk from Puji Temple. It's a courtyard-style hotel, quiet yet conveniently located. The Chinese Zen atmosphere is very strong. You open the window to a mountain view, and downstairs is the popular restaurant 'Yuan Zhi Yuan Wei' (Original Flavor). The hotel offers free shuttle service to and from the pier. Just call before you disembark, and a dedicated car will pick you up. The driver even proactively helps with luggage. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. We also received complimentary welcome fruit upon check-in. The hotel also provided a complimentary travel photoshoot. The photographer was excellent, with a great eye for aesthetics. He specifically chose spots with beautiful lighting and composed shots artfully. He really helped us, who are a bit awkward in front of the camera, by guiding our poses throughout, making the experience natural and relaxed. I strongly recommend this photoshoot; it's absolutely worth it.

I had a pleasant stay at Xilei Panlong Hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making the check-in smooth and the overall experience comfortable. The facilities were well-maintained, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. The room was clean and spacious, though the décor felt a little bit old-fashioned compared to modern standards. Despite that, it was cozy and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, this hotel offers good value and a relaxing environment. With some updates to the rooms, it could easily reach a perfect 5-star rating.

The room facilities are suitable for families, and the overall environment is quite nice. It would be even better if there were welcome fruit. The front desk staff are sincere and helpful; they are commendable for their empathy and consideration for guests.

The room facilities are old, especially the bathroom, which feels like a small hotel. Because there are elderly people with mobility problems, we were given two rooms at the end of the first floor. I am very grateful, but I didn't expect that the aunts' loud voices and rudeness are really a headache. They chattered until midnight at night and started to chatter again before 5 o'clock in the morning. Someone even knocked on the door and wanted to open the door to enter, but was stopped by her companions. We got up in a daze. The hotel has poor sound insulation. I hope the service staff can remind the uncles and aunts to speak softly and not disturb others. The only choice: moderate location
