I chose this place based on the positive reviews and beautiful photos on another platform. The reality is very different: a nightmare! Dirt, sewer smell, ants, 19th-century air conditioning that didn't work (it felt like a tractor in the room). Stains on the bedspread and sheets that weren't very clean. The owner was uncooperative and hostile. A terrible experience.

AVOID! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!! I chose this place based on the positive reviews and beautiful photos, but in my opinion they're all fake... the reality is a nightmare! SHAMEFUL. I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I've never been treated so badly! We arrived in the room and immediately noticed how hot it was. We turned on the air conditioning, which started with a terrible noise, but didn't cool the room. After a couple of hours, we contacted the host, informing him of the excessive heat and the non-working air conditioning. The so-called "host" literally kicked us out, sending us an email from booking to say that he had CANCELLED our reservation. TWO HOURS AFTER CHECK IN!!! We were touring Matera, so we had to rush back, pack our bags, and find another place to stay for the night. A family with children! What a disgrace!!!

FANTASTICO veramente. Rinnovato da pochissimo con una eleganza e lo studio nei minimi particolari. Posizione strategica per potersi godere la vera Matera, tutto a portata di mano. Tutto confortevole, accogliente, vista mozzafiato dalla terrazza. Sarà il ns. punto di riferimento quando ritorneremo da quelle parti. Mattia una persona di una disponibilità unica, un'accoglienza che ti fa pensare di essere in famiglia.
