"We had a great stay at Seda Cebu while traveling with family. The hotel is definitely good value for money, especially with the free breakfast included. The rooms were comfortable, the location was convenient, and the overall experience was very pleasant. Also to Riza and Ana Amante from the breakfast service crew — they were very accommodating, attentive, and made our mornings even better. "Hotel service is very good.. attendants/concierge are polite and always willing to assist whenever you needed them. In terms of location its nice also since Parkmall is at the opposite side of the hotel where there are plenty of restaurants available should you decide not to dine in the hotels restaurant. In comparison to similar hotels in the city, it is highly recommended since its less than 30 minutes away from the airport and short trip to Cebu City's business area and malls ie; Ayala, IT Park, SM City, Robisnon's Galleria, SM Seaside etc. Cleanliness and the well maintained facilities of this hotel is a big factor for a relaxing stay in Cebu. "Best family hotel. All staffs from reception, to bell boys to the restaurants are all so welcoming and accommodating. They have this huge kidzone play place for kids and attendants are so caring , attentive and kind. We really enjoyed all the resorts facilities. My son & niece enjoyed the pool , beach and kidzone. U should join their Shangrila membership to get gift like snorkel set use, ice cream or the 2hr pass from kidzone which is really the best of the 3."

"The hotel is located on a private island. Getting there isn't too difficult, but all the main attractions (sardines, sharks, canyoneering) are quite a distance away. This hotel seems to have been designed for guests who don't want to leave it – a small 'Bounty island' vibe. But it didn't quite hit the mark. The staff here are constantly smiling. As soon as they see you, they drop what they're doing to greet you. During meals, they approach you every minute to ask questions and tell you about the free 'entertainment' planned for the day. Honestly, it's annoying and doesn't match the status the hotel clearly aims for. In a good hotel, staff are incredibly helpful yet discreet. Here, they can't even clean the room without being noticed. However, you can tell they've been trained this way, rather than it being their natural work style. So, if they were trained differently, these young people would significantly improve the service quality. Also, don't expect quick responses or help from anyone. It's better to go directly to reception and sort things out yourself. That's the most effective way, otherwise, you might drown in a Kafkaesque castle with a British surrealist twist. The room we stayed in was magnificent in terms of size and cleanliness. The shower wasn't working well, but they replaced it quickly. When walking around the room, the wardrobe wobbles and makes noise, but these are minor issues. I noticed signs of wood-boring insects in the safe cabinet, but didn't see the insects themselves, so they didn't cause any trouble. Food. The food here is very poor, compared to all the other places I've visited in the Philippines. A hotel aiming for a high rating shouldn't be serving microwaved store-bought pizza at such a price. If the food is cooked properly (grilled chicken breast, for example), it's invariably oversalted or overspiced. Or both at once. I couldn't find a single dish on the menu that was worth its price or genuinely tasty, except perhaps for the scrambled eggs at breakfast. But that's not enough if you plan to stay on the island all day, is it? Snorkeling costs 1000 pesos per hour for the boat and 100-200 pesos for equipment (each item separate: mask, fins, aqua shoes). The hotel staff claim the equipment is new, but that's not true. Aqua shoes are essentially unavailable in adult sizes (from 40 and up, we found only two old and torn pairs). The coral reef is dying after the typhoon, but there are still beautiful spots, and my wife and I don't regret snorkeling here. Especially since it was the only activity available on the island. To sum up, this hotel might suit those who want to isolate themselves from the rest of the world for a resort-style vacation with an average level of service but rather high prices for that level."

"Locals told me this is the most luxurious hotel in Cebu. The opulent lobby and the kind, attentive staff truly impressed me. The view from my room wasn't great as there was construction (probably another hotel) directly across, but the room was cleaned beautifully every day, making my stay very comfortable. I was also very happy to have a bathtub, as hotels with tubs are quite rare in Cebu. This meant the bathroom was quite spacious. Although you could see into the room from the outside, closing the curtains solved that completely. The amenities were excellent, including toothbrushes, razors, combs, and more! I was also pleased to find body lotion. I booked a plan with breakfast included, and I'm so glad I did! There was a wide variety of dishes, and the menu changed slightly every day, so I never got bored. While some dishes had a strong smell, the taste wasn't bad at all. There are pools on the 4th and 5th floors, and the views were absolutely stunning, so I highly recommend checking them out. The pool on the 4th floor is smaller, but the panoramic views are fantastic for taking photos. The gym was also available 24 hours. If I ever go to Cebu again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. It was so wonderful that I didn't want to go back to Japan..."

"I stayed in the River View Club Suite from December 27-29, 2025. The room was very spacious and comfortable! Upon checking in, I noticed the safe wasn't working, so I called the front desk using the in-room phone. After waiting 30 minutes with no one showing up, I called again and was told someone would be right there to fix it. I then took a bath, and when I drained the tub, the entire bathroom flooded, likely due to a pipe issue. I called the front desk again to report this and mentioned that the safe still hadn't been fixed. I told them I was heading to the Club and then dinner, and that maintenance could enter the room to fix things. After dinner, around 9 PM, I returned to my room. The bathtub issue was resolved, but the safe still hadn't been touched, so I called again. Finally, someone came to fix it. Overall, it's a very good five-star hotel, and being next to a shopping mall (擅长 can also mean 'good at', but in context 'shopping mall' or 'commercial area' seems more likely here for convenience) is very convenient. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets were all excellent. However, there's a need to improve the seafood quality. My main concern is that the hotel staff need to improve their hospitality. Most of the staff didn't greet guests or smile, which isn't what I'd expect from a five-star hotel."

"Хорошая 5ка с большим бассейном, собственной конюшней, фермой, небольшим зоопарком, прекрасным фитнес залом, большим бассейном и треком с квадроциклами, завтрак - шведский стол, не очень разнообразный, но все необходимое есть, достаточно скромно, но вкусно. Персонал вежливый, приветливый и гостеприимный. Цены в ресторане и на услуги SPA максимально демократичные (для 5* отеля). Есть как здание с номерами, так и отдельные виллы с собственными бассейнами. Вилла отличная, просторная, с огромной кроватью, ванной комнатой, множеством окон, достаточно большим (для личного) бассейном и прекрасным видом на море. Береговая линия в наш визит была вся в мусоре, что полностью исключало желание купаться в море (благо, был личный бассейн на вилле, а так же большой общий бассейн отеля), так же территория вся была засыпана листьями от фикусов, которых на территории достаточно много, сделаю предположение, что связано это было с недавними тайфунами, к берегу принесло много водорослей, веток и мусора с моря. Персонал отеля активно занимался уборкой весь период нашего пребывания в отеле. В целом, территория отеля ухоженная, симпатичная, газоны подстрижены, деревья ухожены, а территория, на минуточку, очень большая, что требует большого количества персонала на ее поддержание."

"This stay truly exceeded my expectations. I stayed for three nights and didn't even leave the hotel once – I simply didn't want to! All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service that made my stay exceptionally comfortable. Housekeeping was super responsive; any request I had was handled very quickly. The restaurant service was even more meticulous. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, the staff would proactively and kindly ask if I wanted coffee or other drinks, and often, the coffee was even complimentary – such a heartwarming detail. The mangosteens and mangoes at breakfast were unlimited, making it a true 'fruit paradise' – so satisfying! The breakfast selection on Saturday and Sunday was rich and delicious, while Monday's was slightly less impressive, but overall, it was still fantastic. The entire experience was exceptional; I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Had an amazing stay at Nustar Hotel Cebu. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with stunning views of the sea. The service was exceptional—staff were attentive, warm, and professional. The amenities, especially the pool and dining options, made the experience even more memorable. "Good experience as it is a 5 star hotel but I think they lack manpower as we trainees only most of the time. Hopefully they can provide more good service in the bar lounge area and atleast have artist musicians like other hotels even Dusit Thani Davao have also."
