Kangding Luxury Hotels

"I added the butler's WeChat two days before check-in, and they patiently answered all my questions about our stay. This hotel truly lives up to its five-star guesthouse reputation; from the room facilities to the dining service, everything is top-notch in the area. My kids especially loved the evening bonfire party and making handmade pastries, and they had a great time playing in the ******* clothes provided by the hotel. I highly recommend this place!"

"The butler proactively helped us with our luggage. This hotel is pet-friendly, which is a big plus! The rooms are clean and tidy, and the hotel itself has a great design aesthetic. The stream water was crystal clear, and the kids had a wonderful time playing in it! Now for the downsides. The hotel has a coffee shop, and the coffee was good, but the hotel restaurant was really disappointing! The dishes lacked character, and the only alcoholic beverages offered were beer and cocktails. The beer selection was just your standard Budweiser and Tsingtao, and I ordered a Whiskey Sour and a Martini, which I can only describe as possibly being local 'interpretations.' For a hotel positioned as a luxury travel destination, I was really let down that the restaurant didn't offer any wine, craft beers, or local specialty drinks. We came here to relax and unwind; the facilities are great, but the amenities just don't match up! I hope they can improve this."

"This guesthouse was the absolute best on our Western Sichuan Grand Loop trip. It's grand and luxurious, with various room types to suit different needs. Even during the holidays, they didn't jack up prices like guesthouses in Yading Village charging thousands a night. I was so satisfied, it completely exceeded my expectations! Honestly, I was disappointed with the Kangding scenic area. I came because of that famous song, but the maintenance and management of the attractions were the worst in all of Western Sichuan, even though the natural scenery is stunning. Just fifteen minutes after leaving the scenic area, we arrived at this hot spring hotel and were completely cured of our disappointment... The hot springs, the hotel's design, and the overall architecture are beyond five-star. Chatting with the owner later, I learned it was indeed a master-level design. As detail-oriented people, we lingered in every area, and every photo turned out amazing. It wasn't just for show; it was genuinely comfortable and relaxing. The service and hygiene were definite bonuses. Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up! I immediately recommended it to everyone on my social media. The ******* owner, a native of the area, was very thoughtful and kind. From dinner to breakfast, he constantly checked if we were enjoying our food and personally demonstrated how to make ******* butter tea and sticky rice cakes. He even showed us his private collection of heirloom ******* clothing, which was a real treat. We will definitely be back, and I hope Ligou maintains its quality and has a prosperous business!"

"Upon arriving in Tagong, we decided to stay there on a whim. We booked two rooms. The hotel's quality truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is located right next to the Golden Pagoda on the Tagong Grassland. The price and quality of the hotel's dinner are truly exceptional for the Tagong area. Each room also received two complimentary afternoon teas, and the black tea was excellent. So, I strongly suggest that those driving should avoid staying in Gunong. After watching the sunset in Gunong, why not stay near the quaint Golden Pagoda? Even if you're not driving, staying there allows you to experience Thangka painting, feed marmots, book a ******* costume photoshoot, and enjoy afternoon tea in a traditional ******* building – isn't that wonderful? Plus, the view of the snow-capped mountains and grasslands from the wall next to the hotel is also quite impressive. The hotel staff were very welcoming. A group of good-looking young people. No matter the time, they were always there to help. Because we had to leave early the next day, the hotel kept the Thangka painter who was about to leave for the day so we could experience Thangka culture. The hotel staff also personally delivered fresh yak milk to our room every evening. What keeps people there in the end is definitely people. It's not necessarily the scenery, facilities, or photos. I've stayed in many guesthouses that are overrated and misleading in their photos. But this one is truly different. Go ahead and stay here with confidence; it's definitely a top-tier guesthouse on the entire Sichuan West Loop website, in terms of location, facilities, and the people."
