"I spent two nights here, splitting my stay between an ocean-view room and a standard room. Both rooms were incredibly cozy for sleeping, and the air conditioners worked like a charm—they kept the temperature perfectly comfortable, making the rooms nice and warm even when it was raining outside, which was such a big plus. With police cars stationed downstairs on 24-hour duty, I felt totally safe throughout my stay. The only minor downside was a bit of nighttime noise from parties happening off the hotel premises, which I assume was down to the holiday period."

"The hotel is very nice, and the owner is also very friendly. During the stay, he helped me order meals and taxis, and also gave me a local bus card to use local transportation. The hotel is in a very good location, close to Electric Street and close to galata tower."

"The hotel is in the Karaköy district, which is perfect for exploring Istanbul. It’s walkable to the T1 tram station, Galata Tower, and the art museum so location is definitely a highlight. The area also feels pretty safe, even for female travelers, which is a big plus. Our room was clean and had a spacious bathroom, which was nice. However, we were placed on the first floor, and the view was underwhelming. The staff greeted us and said hello, but I didn’t feel very welcomed for a 5-star service. They could have been more helpful with directions and local tips, especially since we were female travelers. Overall, service felt a bit distant. maybe I expected more from a 5-star property. (Just my personal opinion ) Pros: - Excellent location - Safe area for female travelers - Clean room and big bathroom Cons: - First floor view was disappointing - Staff could be friendlier and more helpful"

"I recently stayed at Palazzo Donizzeti Hotel in Istanbul and had a great experience overall. The hotel is in a perfect location, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were very nice and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. The rooms were comfortable, though we did have an issue with the air conditioning on our first night. The staff tried to fix it, and when they couldn’t, they moved us to a new room the next day, which was much better. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of options to start the day. Despite the initial hiccup with the AC, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay in Istanbul."
