Edition Old City Hotel

Excellent location for seeing the older parts of Istanbul, with the Grand Bazaar about 6 minutes' walk away, and several major historical sites within 20 minutes' walk. The rooms have very little space to spare, but they are clean and serviceable. The front desk service is great, and breakfast has many delicious options. There's even a coffee shop in the lobby, so it's easy to get coffee or tea without going out. A great place to stay for exploring Istanbul.

From the moment we arrived, Old City Hotel exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in the heart of the historic district, this hotel perfectly blends old-world charm with modern comfort.

Very good hotel overall, with wonderful staff. The location is excellent, our room with a large balcony was lovely, and the employees were consistently kind, helpful and attentive. Unfortunately, the entire hotel experienced an air-conditioning failure during one very hot night. The room remained extremely hot even with the window open, and the street noise made sleeping difficult. My father, who has health problems, eventually had to sleep on the balcony, and we lost much of the following day recovering. The air conditioning was repaired the next day. The hotel offered a late check-out, which we unfortunately couldn't use because of our flight. I feel a partial refund for the affected night would have been more appropriate. I want to emphasize that this was absolutely not the staff's fault. They genuinely did everything they could to help us, and we are very grateful for their kindness. Despite this incident, we had a very good stay.
