AHG Atlas Hotel Taksim

Good value fot money. Close to city centre but you have to go a little bit on the hill so be prepared. Room is clean and bed is comfortable

The room was spacious and bright with plenty of natural light. However, the pillows were too high and not very comfortable for sleeping.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a very pleasant stay at AHG Atlas Hotel Taksim. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help whenever I had questions. My room was comfortable, clean, and provided everything I needed for a good rest after long days of exploring Istanbul. The bathroom was kept very clean, and I especially appreciated that the towels were changed daily. The only small downside was that the body soap supply could have been more generous, but it wasn’t a major issue. One of the highlights of my stay was the view from the hotel, the it was absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more enjoyable. The location is very convenient, only about a 5-minute walk to Taksim Square, with convenience stores, restaurants, and other essentials nearby. While some of the surrounding streets may feel a little dodgy at first, I felt comfortable once I arrived at the hotel and never encountered any problems. If you wanna get a taxi to the airport just ask them to help, they have a super good rate! Lastly, Kerem is a super cool and friendly guy! Raise him! Overall, this is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul on a mid-range budget. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Would stay again!

For similar price range, AHG Atlas rooms are great (clean & firm beds without smoking smell, good size bathroom, nice views even on lower floors) compared to hotels nearer to Taksim square that we've experienced. Definitely worth the additional 300m walk for more peace and quiet at night. Reception staffs are friendly who gave good recommendations for places to eat. The reception area is big with WC for guests. Highly recommended.

If you’re planning to book this hotel to have a view of the balloons, then yes you should. I got to see the balloons early in the morning - such a beautiful sight. They have a HUGE spread for breakfast if you’re very into Turkish breakfast. The room was quite spacious too. Location wise, it’s not too far from the Main Street where all the shops are so that’s good. Receptionists are very friendly and would be happy to assist you about anything.
