During our stay at the villa, we thoroughly enjoyed the private pool and semi-outdoor bath tub. The room was impressive, with a spacious and comfortable bed. The bathroom, connected to the outdoor platform, was stunning, and the hot, steaming bath water was a highlight. The branded toiletries, including the additional body lotion, were a great touch, especially after swimming. Highlights of our stay included the private pool, the complimentary high teas, and the option to have breakfast served in the restaurant or in-room. The resort also offered amenities such as complimentary buggy rides, bike rentals, and various free games. Exploring the vast resort, with its nature sounds and relaxing atmosphere, was a memorable experience. Additionally, the dinner and bar were worth visiting and offered affordable options. However, the air conditioning in the room was not effective at night, and some of the bikes provided were not in the best condition. The steep slopes in the resort also posed a challenge, as I had a biking accident due to my own excitement and adrenaline rush. It's important to be cautious when using the bikes. For other dining and leisure options, Gambang offers local Chinese eateries, and Kuantan town, just an hour's drive away, provides modern cafes, shopping opportunities, and beach access.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.

For the price i paid, which is very good.... They actually changed my sheets daily! The view is fantastic. The location is in the middle of old town, landmarks, food..... The river is just there, serene and windy, can lepak there and no one disturbs you. People around are friendly A very safe place for foreigners. But I don't see them here though, I hope more foreigners will come to this little chill town to enjoy the culture and warmth. I myself have been here countless times over the years and still coming.

I had a really great stay at Imperium Kuantan. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Sea view from the balcony was amazing. The facilities and swimming pool were perfect for relaxing. The room also came with Netflix, which was a nice bonus for chilling at night. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the owner was very kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Everything went well throughout the stay. Overall, a very satisfying experience and I would definitely come again!

Location is strategic. Room is spacious, equipped with bath tub, balcony, tv has so many channels. Delicious buffet breakfast and lunch spread. Love the scent in this hotel. Will rebook this hotel once I am back in Kuantan.

Bilik sgt cantik n selesa !! I love staying there. Coway pun ada so senang utk i yg ada baby. But the wifi was very2 slow. Cannot use at all pun actually. So i had to use my own data to watch the tv. Hope u can improve ur data connction la yaa

My all time hotel fav when visitting Kuantan. Been there for 5 times already, followed my husband outstation. Even he go solo, he would always choose this hotel. Near to many restaurants, easy car park @ cozy place for short stay. Additional point: swimming pool! 💕

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere, which allowed me to rest well after a long day. Housekeeping did an excellent job in keeping the room tidy throughout my stay.

Nice beverage from Fathé, the stall beside the hotel. Highly recommend the fruit drinks, fresh and refreshing.
