"I stayed here as a transit guest. While the hotel's perimeter from the entrance to the hotel is a bit bleak, its location is commensurate with its price, and the unique scenery makes for a satisfying Sri Lankan experience. They offer complimentary drinks upon check-in. The lobby, once you step into the reception area, is a comfortable temperature, combining the best of a beachfront hotel. The room was just as comfortable as it looked online. There was a fan, so laundry and swimsuits could be dried easily. There was also a balcony, where the western sun was hot during the day, but the sunsets were beautiful. The only unreliable TV was a smart TV, which was disappointing. You could also enjoy the gym on the top floor while overlooking the ocean. The buffet was delicious! There was a wide variety to choose from. There were plenty of curry dishes for spice lovers, Thai food, and Italian options for those who don't like spicy food. The friendly service made for a great time. The hotel's service sometimes felt a bit Asian, but I consider that part of Sri Lanka. Check-out was at midnight, and strong winds blew through the lobby, but an Uber taxi arrived in front of me."

"Our first time in Sri Lanka and it was exceptional! The location is perfect — close to CMB Airport, making it very convenient for late arrivals. The 24-hour reception was fantastic; we were warmly greeted by the friendly and helpful staff. We even had the chance to cool off in the clean, refreshing pool. The room was spacious, modern, and spotless. Breakfast was outstanding — a generous three-course meal with fresh fruit, juice, beautifully cooked and seasoned vegetables, followed by an omelette and sausages. Absolutely delicious and plentiful! A special mention to Damith, who went above and beyond to help us organise rides and offered great local recommendations. Overall, a very pleasant experience — highly recommend staying here!"

"I stayed at this hotel for one night. It’s conveniently close to the airport, making it easy to reach in about 30 minutes. If you’re looking to enjoy a lagoon view, this is one of the best options. The breakfast was excellent, featuring both traditional and Western dishes. They also offer a late checkout option at an hourly rate of approximately $5 USD per hour."

"This place truly rejuvenates your body. It's a hotel, but it feels more like a sanctuary where you can cleanse both your body and soul. You wake up at 6 AM for yoga, followed by two and a half hours of Ayurvedic treatments daily, prescribed by a specialist. Evenings are dedicated to meditation. The therapists are excellent. I've had massages in many countries and am quite particular about therapist compatibility. While I did initially have one who wasn't a good fit, I was able to discuss it with the specialist and switch. The staff genuinely cares about our comfort. My 5-night, 6-day stay was enough to experience Ayurveda, but for actual treatment, two weeks would be necessary. I believe a month-long stay would allow for a complete cellular renewal of the body. If I were to ever develop a chronic illness or cancer, I would want to stay here for several months for serious treatment. Even to prevent chronic diseases and cancer, I feel it would be beneficial to come here regularly for a detox. Meals are therapeutic and prepared according to your dosha. Honestly, some Western guests complained about the food during my stay, but it's meant to be therapeutic. It's tailored to your dosha, eliminating foods that don't suit your body, flavored only with spices, and hardly any salt or sugar is used. Despite that, the presentation and taste are truly commendable. Over my 5-night, 6-day stay, I never had the same menu twice for any of the three daily meals. Even the fruit platters were artfully varied. Since no alcohol or coffee is served, it might not be ideal for those looking for a typical resort experience, but for anyone wanting to reset their body and mind, this is the perfect place."

"Amazing beachfront hotel, very very good service. Rooms looks better than on photos! Extremely good price/quality offer! We stayed during New Year's Eve and Gala dinner was mind blowing - so much choice, delicacies of all sort, tasty and desers are from heaven as well. Ochen ochen xorosho. We could see all Negombo fireworks. Hotel team also provided us with the early breakfast package because we left early morning on January 1st! They really did go above and beyond to help us feel truly valuable guests! We will return! Thank you Earl's Regent Team!"

"The host was incredibly kind and friendly! When we arrived a bit early and the room wasn't ready yet, their son played with us, making for a very enjoyable time.
