Limeshine Hotels and Residence

It's an airport hotel, so you can't expect too much or nitpick. It's just a temporary stay. All things considered, it's pretty decent compared to other options nearby.

The hotel rooms and service were excellent. Having a supermarket right across from the hotel was incredibly convenient. However, the airport pick-up service was a bit pricey (5000 rupees, including the wait at the airport). If you arrive during the day, taking an Uber would be much cheaper.

Close to Colombo Airport, it's a good choice for a transit hotel. The service is warm and attentive, but the only downside is that the hot water only lasted about 3 minutes, so I ended up taking a cold shower. There's a supermarket right across the road from the hotel, which was convenient for stocking up on supplies.

The hygiene conditions are worrying.

Honestly, I mainly chose this place for its proximity, but everything else was pretty subpar. The Wi-Fi was terrible, the sheets looked dirty, and the service was just okay. There were even two power outages during my stay. The only upsides were its close proximity to the airport and the decent food from the hotel's own menu.

The hotel was overbooked. We arrived past 11 PM to find out there were no rooms available. They arranged for us to stay at another hotel about a 5-minute drive away. Although they provided a car, the drive late at night was quite frightening, with no streetlights on a dark road. The alternative hotel was also in a more secluded area, and the facilities felt more like a guesthouse; there weren't even blankets.
