The location and conditions of the hotel are okay. It's a little bit old, but it's clean and very cost-effective. You can see the river outside the window, which is pretty good! It is very close to Busan Station and Shanghai Street, and dining and currency exchange are very convenient nearby!

The hotel's facilities, both inside and out, were fantastic.
My wife and I stayed at the hotel during a trip to Seoul.
The bed wasn't hard, but soft and had nice cushions.
You should bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste.
However, we booked a twin room,
and the only disappointment was that the twin rooms were only on the second floor.
Because it was on the second floor, the sound of sewage flushing was sometimes very loud,
and the sewage would sometimes rise to the sink's drain,
and my husband and I were startled by the sound of the sewage running out.
A slight sewage smell wafted from the shower,
which was a shame.
However, we made up for it by going up to the rooftop on the 15th floor,
and seeing the city night view and the crescent moon. Haha.

The hotel itself is not bad and for the price definetly worth it. Friendly staff and in a very good spot. The only thing that made me feel uneasy was that because of a ”system problem” the staff just entered my room without asking, while I was inside. As a solo female traveler this is probably the worst nightmare especially because there is no second lock on the door or anything. If I didn't mention at the reception, what happened, they wouldn't have mentioned it nor apologized. (it happened in the evening and even if there was a system problem, they could've seen the light outside, which turns off, when someone puts their card inside).. Mistakes can happen, yes. But they should've at least knock afterwards or call me to apologize.

Exit 8 was the closest. I came out of Exit 1 for nothing and walked a little more. The photo and the hostel photo were the same and the bathroom was spacious. There were many restaurants behind the hostel and it was nice. Cleanliness was especially good.

An interesting hotel. They let you know right in the elevator that if you don't like your room, you'll be upgraded. The comfort is exceptional, even including a hot water bottle in the bed. There are plenty of amenities, including a hair straightener. Television from all leading platforms is available at no extra charge! You can make popcorn in the lobby (there's a machine).
Reception helped print out airline tickets. Everything was great, and the price was fair.

CCaicaiThe highlight this time was how lively and convenient the surrounding area was. A big shout-out to a gentleman at the front desk; his attitude was exceptionally good and he made me feel very welcome. However, compared to my stay at this hotel a year ago, I was quite disappointed this time. Firstly, there's absolutely no need to book a balcony room – it's just a tiny corner, incredibly small, and the balcony room actually felt a bit smaller than a standard room. My next complaint is about the hotel breakfast; it was exactly the same for all four days, with no variety whatsoever. Lastly, the complimentary snacks and drinks in the room were only provided on the first day. Although the room was cleaned afterwards, they were never refilled.

CChengyinThis hotel is super popular! I wanted to book it for the Qingming holiday, but it was already sold out. It's right outside Hongdae Subway Exit 4, and there's a big mall downstairs with a 24-hour convenience store inside. It's really convenient and the price is quite low compared to other hotels in the area.

GGuest UserThis was my second time staying at Ninetree Insadong, the first time booked on a different platform. The location is excellent, right across from Jogyesa Temple (you can book a room with a temple view) and near two subway stations, Anguk on Line 3 (nearer) and Jonggak on Line 1 (slightly farther but still within walking distance). The location made it easy to get around Seoul by public transport and the hotel is also near the airport bus 6011 stop, so you travel to and from the airport easily. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel is right above the Anyoung Insadong mall which made it convenient to grab snacks or drinks or souvenirs from the mall's shops. You also get easy access to Insadong street with lots of eateries, cafes and souvenir shops. The area has a relaxed cultural vibe without being overcrowded. If you are vegetarian or vegan, the area has a number of vegetarian and vegan eateries. The room itself was fairly standard for a four star hotel. The staff were very helpful when I needed to make calls to a local number to arrange something and also helped with communication and translation. Kudos to the wonderful staff.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, right in the Myeongdong shopping district. The hygiene and environment are great, and the service is very good. They even have staff who speak Chinese. It's only a three to five-minute walk from Myeongdong Subway Station. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Even though it's in a bustling shopping area, it's not noisy at all at night.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money! It's really luxurious and easy to find, located on the side of the building. It's about a seven-minute walk from Dongdaemun or Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, just follow the directions on Naver Maps. There are lots of shops nearby, especially towards Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, but it doesn't feel chaotic; I, as a solo female traveler, felt very safe. On the ground floor, there's a concierge who was very warm and polite, guiding me to the 14th floor for check-in. The lobby on the 14th floor is spacious, with several staff members, including some who speak Chinese. There's also a photo booth and a convenience store in the lobby. The room was huge! And it even had a bathtub! It was spotless, and the entire hotel smelled lovely. The cleaning lady was super cute and pretty, haha. I really enjoyed my stay, but there are two minor drawbacks, in my opinion. Firstly, the hairdryer's airflow was a bit weak, which wasn't very comfortable to use. Secondly, the soundproofing wasn't amazing, but it didn't disturb my sleep, so it was fine overall.

-Has a very nice cafe on the rooftop to see seoul city
-Able to see seoul towel from our room!
What to improve/Take note:
-the staff service at night can’t really speak english so sometimes I don’t understand what they say abiutbthe deposit when checking in.
-No microwave/only fridge available
-The walkway is actually on the slope/hills (the picture doesn’t show that much that the hotel is on the hill so anyone who has big luggages or on snow time it is recommended to book an uber on the winter time)

AAnonymous UserThis hotel is conveniently located near exits 4 and 5 of Seoul Station, which have direct elevators, making it super easy for those with large luggage! The rumors about homeless people near exits 7 and 8 are true, but I didn't encounter any issues, and since those exits only have stairs, I just avoided them entirely. It felt perfectly safe, so no worries there.
The biggest advantage of staying here is its proximity to the Airport Express and train lines. It's just a five-minute walk, which is incredibly convenient! Plus, Seoul Station has a Lotte Mart, so it's perfect for buying lots of groceries and carrying them straight back to your room.
You enter on the first floor and take the elevator directly up to the front desk on the second floor. The restaurant on the first floor has a lovely ambiance, especially in winter. The room itself wasn't large, but anyone who's traveled to Japan or Korea will understand that. Overall, it was clean, tidy, and quiet. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

YYengBOur family had a wonderful stay at Sollago Myeongdong Hotel. The room was very spacious and perfect for a family. It had two separate rooms, each with a double bed, plus two single beds in the living room. It fit our family of five very comfortably.
The unit was well equipped with a washer, smart TV, microwave, ref/freezer, and smart bidet, which made our stay easy and stress free—especially for a longer trip.
The location is a big plus. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk to the subway and bus stops (Chungmuro), making it very convenient to get around Seoul. There is also a convenience store right downstairs, and many local Korean restaurants nearby, so food was never a problem.
Btw, it’s a self check-in/out hotel. Very modern indeed!
Overall, this hotel is a great choice for families who want space, comfort, and easy access to transport. We would gladly stay here again.

Ssurie wanLocated very close to famous myeongdong street. Very close to bus stop and myeondong teain station. Easy if use aiport limousine bus from incheon bcause the stop just 80 m from entrance. A list of halal restaurant nearby for muslm travellers for exmple mari meokja just infrom hotel, kampung ku and busan jib around 300 m from hotel and many more. Other attraction are within walking distance The staff were kind enough to let us chexk in 1 hr earlier. Room is spacious and clean. Can see namsan tower from the room

GGuest UserI thought Gangman Seven hostel was a very pleasant experience! For the value of the price it’s really unmatched in Seoul. While a bit far from the touristic neighborhood, it’s very close to several subway lines, reasonably clean for the price.
⬇️ Also if you leave the hostel and take a left and walk for 6-7 minutes, you will see this dumpling place pictured below, really incredible and affordable dumplings, I highly recommend. Went back 2 nights
