The room was slightly more spacious than most hotels in Japan, beautifully designed, and very clean—making our stay comfortable from the start. During our stay, we experienced the Aomori earthquake. We could clearly feel the shaking, and our phones received emergency alerts, so we quickly evacuated using the outdoor emergency stairs. When we reached the lobby, a staff member named 佐藤 (Sato) was already there, calmly reassuring guests. He noticed a lady who had run out barefoot and quietly brought her a pair of slippers without making a scene—such a thoughtful gesture. Mr. Sato was friendly and attentive during check-in, and during the earthquake he remained calm, clear, and informative. His professionalism and kindness left a deep impression on us. Overall, a wonderful stay with excellent service and genuine care for guests. Highly recommended."
