Great
GGuest UserI loved our overnight stay at The Modernist! It’s a chic, smart, arty hotel in the centre of the city, easy walking distance to all the shopping, bars and restaurants. The room was spotless with tea, coffee, minibar and toiletries all provided. The restaurant and cocktail bar serves creative cocktails, a great buffet breakfast and a fabulous dinner - we enjoyed them all!!
TtravelingwitchTrisete is a city suitable for holidays With the grotto nearby and historical buildings Hotel providing good seafood in the restaurant, good options for the breakfast Stunning view of the sea Love the spatial balcony
LLilzpuppiesIt was a last minute trip for my family to Trieste. Fortunately and very gladful that I managed to book a room with Urbanauts. It was also one of the best choices I have made. It was so easy and convenient for the check-in process, and the location is very strategic where it is walkable to the main attractions. There is coop nearby as well for us to grab some snacks or drinks. The building itself is nicely furnished with a lift, our room toilet and kitchen are equipped with all the necessity that are very useful to us. I highly recommend this place to stay and will book with them again in the near future !
TTimeTravellerIf you want to truly experience Trieste in the right location and with style then this is the place. A small perfectly built Palace run by staff who care about their guests. There is absolutely everything you need here. I arrived late at night and when I walked out onto the breakfast room the following room found myself saying wow at the view on the stunning Piazza. I choose this hotel because I had always wanted to stay there in Trieste, I did return for a second stay and I would stay there again. You are close to the sea, the historical centre, numerous bars and restaurants, shopping and tourist hotspots. The rooms are lovely, majestically clean. Breakfast are a relaxing experience you do not want to hurry because why would you with that view around you. The bar is the place to be throughout the day and also acts as an informal restaurant throughout the day. Formal is also available but that was not my choice. Rooms were large comfortable and very clean with the best amenities provided. Book your stay, you know you want to!
GGuest UserIt's a nice place, very good location, and the staff is very kind and helpful. But this place is not a hostel. It doesn't have a kitchen and there's no common room where normally it's possible to meet and socialize with other travellers. You can stay in the bar that's downstairs, but definitely you don't feel like being in a hostel. The dorm is okay and the beds are comfortable, so it was not bad overall.
GGuest UserGreat location, very close to train station and multiple bus stops nearby. Walkable to many touristy spots. Receptionists were very helpful, they also provide luggage storage. The only major downside is no aircon, and the room was much hotter than outside. We tried opening the windows on the first night and got bitten by mosquitoes, which was worse than being hot. The next day we got a fan, but still a bit too hot to sleep. Apart from that, overall it was a good spot
GGuest UserReceptionist was very welcoming! Keep up the good job girls! Refreshing drinking water just before the reception, is a bonus. Central location, mostly flat pedestrian walk to everywhere. Amenities is in sufficient. No tissue box. Room is clean but too dim and no light in the shower cubicle. Hope this genuine review will help others to decide.
GGuest UserNot enough options for breakfast (only boiled eggs). Good selection of bread, desserts and fruit. They organize guests during breakfast in time slots to avoid over crowding. Spotless room with marble tile walls and floors in bathroom. Very close to downtown and points of interest.
LLori C.A safe, 3-star hotel in a great location that's excellent for solo travelers. It's located near the cruise ship terminal (18 minute walk) and train station. There are restaurants, shopping, a 24-hour laundromat, post office, and grocery store nearby. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I was able to check in early; they also offer a luggage storage room. I received excellent travel advice...I was able to plan and execute a day trip on a water taxi to Muggia, Italy on my arrival day then went to Slovenia the following day. They also booked an early morning (0430 am) airport taxi for me as well. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and was constantly replenished but not a big area, again great for solos. My room on the 5th floor was a little outdated but clean and comfortable. The front desk is not open 24-hours. I would definitely stay here again.
