It was a nice neat room. Close to both the train station and city center. A coffee maker is provided in room. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice hotel! The room design is excellent and very practical to use. The rooms are clean and the location is really good. I definitely recommend staying here!

I arrived in the evening after a long train journey. The receptionist whose English was brilliant immediately put me at my ease, giving me all sorts of useful information - including where to get a meal and how to get out from the garden side. My room was across the garden and largely unlit so it was a bit of an adventure getting there the first time. The decor and facilities in the room itself were a little 1960ish., though it did have an iron and ironing board so I was able to neaten myself up before going out. I did feel a little nervous using the shower as the bath was plastic and I’m a large old guy. I found getting in and out slightly tricky. Breakfasts were good though.Montpellier itself was strange - lots of grandiose architecture but not much shade. The old town was slightly disappointing somehow (but then I was only there for a couple of days). Leaving was complicated by another national day of (in)action. When I heard that the tram I needed to get to Montpellier Sud de France station had been held up by the demonstrators in town, reception came to the rescue and ordered me a taxi so I was able to get the train back. So to sum up a quirky hotel with terrific staff.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. Overall, a good value for money and a practical choice for travelers looking for a simple, comfortable stay in Montpellier.

All good but the rooms are small :) the hostel is newly renovated.
