Jost Hotel Montpellier Centre St Roch

Fabulous hotel super close to the train station, almost too close. I was there during the heatwave which meant the windows were open during the night, the trains are so loud!!! The aircon was also set to 25 which didn’t really feel cold enough. Maybe the AC just wasn’t powerful enough? Suggestions: No one needs a whole duvet during a 41 degree heatwave, just a cover is enough. Turn the AC down in temp, or up in power. Overall, the hostel is great! It’s clean, has great facilities etc… I think I was just there at an unfortunate time.

This place is perfect for a couple of days in Montpellier. It's nice and quiet. I met a couple of solo travels at this hostel.

This place was great value. I got a capsule room. A small room with a shared shower, kitchen, toilet and sitting room. But you only share with a group of six capsule rooms so you could totally eg do some laundry and dry it in the shared space. Room was nice too. Big windows. I was in 519(6). Front desk could have been more helpful, when I asked for help getting to the airport in the morning he put it into google and turned his screen round briefly. (As if I hadn’t though of that). Turns out there is a bus which doesn’t come up on google (leaving from a totally different place to the tram he suggested) and that if you just take the tram you have to walk for 40mins at the end. Luckily I had asked someone else before getting stuck but by then it was too late and I had to get a cab which I had overtly said I didn’t want to have to pay for. Feels like basic info he should have been able to provide.
