Love the environment here, lovely city lovely town, the michelin restaurant also fantastic

This hotel is well located on a nice tree lined square with busy cafes nearby. Breakfast service was fast and the food was great , The restaurant is in the same room in the evenings and again the food was good and the service friendly . The could cater for vegetarians. It's easy to walk to the old town which is very busy and the arty hotel decor is fabulous . Our room was luxurious and huge and looked over the square but was not noisy at night The hotel will help you get a taxi up to the hotel which is mainly in the no vehicle area.

Everything was amazing, the staff were so helpful and friendly. Particular shout out to Adrion, who was just SO kind.

A glorious property …beautiful bedrooms of quality …fabulous restaurants but very poor breakfast and no gym….so if your there for a few days at this high price it’s not 5 star.Parking is a controlled nightmare that excellent valet service sincerely helps ( Anthony)….location is very good and….a fabulous bar.Fine dining was excellent with the exception to veal was very fatty lamb…otherwise glorious.Unbelievable that such great food was associated with such a 2 -3 star breakfast in “ poor looking soulless “ room…..when it could have been in the atrium.

Ahh, a luxury hotel that takes care of its guests. We had a lovely 4 nite visit, delicious continetlal breakfast, quick room service and great 7 course birthday dinner. We really enjoyed ourselves inteh heart of the old quarter.

Great hotel, humorfull and smiling professionals stunning restaurant with great structure of tasty food. The gourmet restaurant is a temple of fine dinning The rooms are big, have a nice view andare very clean

Hotel Richer de Belleval This is a beautiful 300 year old mansion that has been converted into a boutique hotel and part of Relais & Chateau of which we are members. Unfortunately our experience was not the best and we were quite disappointed. First of all when booking we were advised that the hotel is in a pedestrian only area so we were told we would be given driving access instructions the day before arrival. We never did and getting there was a huge hassle. Our room was OK but we hated the bathroom. The shower is the absolute worst one we‘ve ever had anywhere. I guess it’s designed to be in period but it’s in the tub and has a semi circular rod with a linen shower curtain that confines you in a small space with the plumbing pipes and controls intruding into the small space. As if that isn’t bad enough it’s totally open in the back, plus the soap, shampoo, etc. is on a ledge outside so you have to open the shower curtain to get at them and water goes everywhere. The WiFi log-in is ridiculous and is not only slow but kept losing the connection. The windows don’t open as we found out and when trying to close they catch on the curtains. We also found some of the staff to be quite unfriendly and certainly lacking any semblance of hospitality. Having said all this the location is great and if we were to return to Montpellier we’ve would likely stay here as it’s supposedly the best.

Impossible to communicate effectively with staff. The link to manage booking (to cancel) did not work on the website and I made several requests by email to cancel. They still charged me for a room (for twice the price of my original stay) that I did not stay in and that I refused to accept. I am happy to provide detailed correspondences, beginning four days before my original stay. My French friend called to help me sort it out and they still refused to acknowledge any responsibility in ignoring my requests to cancel.

High quality accommodation in a traditional building in a good, central location; excellent staff service. Dining in Jardin des Sens was a superb experience in terms of food quality, setting and service.
