Hotels near Dom/Hbf Metro Station, Cologne

Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again.

Spacious room and very clean! Mattress is comfortable. Breakfast has many options. The Harbour Christmas market is just few steps down.

Lovely hotel, great location and very close to the train station.

When I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe. The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort. As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne. When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time. Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!

I had a great stay at Hotel Flandrischer Hof! The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cologne and just a short walk from everything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty with a good variety. I’d definitely stay here again next time I visit the city. Great value for the price!

Excellent. Clean and enough parking spaces (15 euro). Free swimming pool and bathtub in the room are also a big plus for my kid. 2 Large supermarkets across the street. Will come again.

It was a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and clean. There was a table and chairs, so we could have light meals there. The front desk staff were extremely kind and listened attentively to our requests, responding thoughtfully. It's also ideal for sightseeing, being just a short walk from Central Station or Cologne Cathedral.

Great stay! Clean, cozy room with comfy beds. Friendly staff, quick check-in/out. Perfect location—close to shops and transit. Breakfast had good variety. Will definitely come back!

The staff at front desk were very helpful, but you had to leave the front entrance of the hotel to access the building where my room was. There was only one toilet roll which was nearly finished, no tissues, there were long curly hairs in the sink. The bedroom had small buts of confetti stars on the floor & there was no information about wifi. However the bedding was clean, as were the towels & shower. The room was small but I was only there one night. The lication is very close to the central station.
