Hyatt Regency Cologne

We were truly touched when the staff at the Club Lounge on the 6th floor prepared a Cologne Cathedral-shaped cookie to celebrate my wife’s birthday. In addition, Kira kindly wished her a happy birthday in Korean and took such thoughtful care of us, which made our experience even more special. Thanks to this kindness, the final day of our very first trip to Europe became the happiest and most memorable day of our journey. We sincerely thank Hyatt, as well as the beautiful view of Cologne, for making my wife’s birthday abroad so special. We hope to return again someday.

The level of cleanliness of the room did not meet my expectations. There were a number of long hairs on the floor of the bathroom which had clearly not been cleaned properly The reception were apologetic and I was moved to another room - the bathroom also had some hairs. Cologne is a beautiful city and the hotel is well located, however it was overpriced for the standard unfortunately. I wish I had booked one of the other hotels and I definitely will next time. There should not be a number of hairs on the floor if it is properly cleaned. Very disappointed

Good service, nice location, sufficiently adequate facilities

We had an enjoyable stay. Location and service was excellent. Room was spacious and comfortable. Perfect view of the cathedral from the club lounge. Highly recommended.

Great hotel for out stay. Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was fantastic Being on the other side of the river although required a walk but also gave us a nice night view of the city from a distance

Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again.
