Hilton Cologne

The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Cologne Cathedral, and the surrounding area is lively. However, the room was a bit dim and not very new. Parking required a bit of a detour to find the entrance, which wasn't very obvious.

Environment: The hotel's location is a mixed bag. It's very close to Cologne Cathedral; you can see the cathedral's spires just by looking up from the lobby entrance. However, it's even closer to the train station, and the area attracts a diverse and somewhat complicated crowd. Facilities: The air conditioning in the room wasn't cooling and was incredibly noisy, like a huge fan inside. The room temperature was even warmer than the hallway. The bathroom drain had a very strong, unpleasant odor. Service: Around 6 PM local time on July 28th, the two female receptionists at the front desk were extremely cold and unwelcoming, acting as if we shouldn't have checked in here. They showed absolutely no service awareness.

The hotel offers a great view of the cathedral from the window and is conveniently located for all the major attractions. There were stains on the bedsheets, but I only noticed them late at night, so I didn't bother asking staff to change them.

Clean and tidy, very close to the train station and Cologne Cathedral.

The hotel facilities are excellent, especially the bed – it was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. Waking up to the sound of the Cologne Cathedral bells right outside the window was truly wonderful. Its close proximity to the train station makes it very convenient for transportation.

Excellent location, superb views, perfect for both business and leisure. • ✅ Location: A mere 3-minute walk to Cologne Cathedral, right next to the central station, making travel incredibly convenient. ✅ Room Experience: Rooms are spacious, clean, and modernly comfortable, with some offering direct views of the cathedral. ✅ Breakfast & Facilities: Breakfast is plentiful and high-quality; the gym, sauna, and IceBar provide a good experience.
