We had a great stay at this hotel. Very close to lots of attractions, which is super convenient but also super busy. The hotel itself was clean and spacious. The staff did a great job making sure we were comfortable. Candice in particular was super communicative and accommodating, especially since we don’t speak Chinese. Our room was quite warm so she checked in with us daily to make sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and included many different options. We took advantage of the amenities including the gym which we really enjoyed. The self service laundry was also super nice amenity. All the staff were kind and helpful. Would recommend.

The only thing to take note is collect at level one near the entrance where they have a shelf for food deliveries. I’m satisfied with the room size, plus I was surprise with the storeroom.

The Minzu Hotel (Beijing Minzu Fandian) opened in 1954 and is situated in a mixed business-residential neighborhood within walking distance of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. It's a great choice for certain kinds of travelers, namely those who prefer to be close to, but not in the midst of, tourist central and who don't mind a few rough edges in exchange for enthusiastic service. The hotel's been busy renovating (they may be done by the time you read this), so some of those rough edges may have been smoothed out recently, solidifying its four-star rating. You have a range of options, from standard/deluxe rooms, superior suites, executive suites, deluxe suites and executive floor suites for the business travelers. Five in-hotel restaurants serve regional Chinese and Western food; one favorite is the Turkish barbecue, serving up the occasional belly dance along with the kebab. The Four Season Restaurant is the strongest of the Chinese restaurants, offering Huai Yang, Sichuan and Shandong dishes. There are also numerous dining options in the surrounding streets.
Stayed two weeks with them, excellent hotel, excellent service. I lost my jacket in the lobby after I checked out and they kept it safe for me for quite a few days. Highly recommend it.

I recently stayed at the hotel and had a truly wonderful experience, which was largely thanks to two exceptional staff members. First, I must give my highest praise to Front office Manager, Ms. Chen Yan. She was not only professional and efficient but also exceptionally warm and thoughtful. From the moment I checked in, she made me feel completely at home with her genuine care and attention. Her assistance and local insights were invaluable, setting a perfect tone for my entire stay. Secondly, a huge thank you to Ms. Jiang Qiuhua from the housekeeping team. Her meticulous attention to detail was remarkable—the room was always immaculate, cozy, and refreshed. Her hard work and quiet dedication made returning to the room each day a real pleasure. Both individuals went above and beyond to create a comfortable and memorable experience for me. Please convey my sincere appreciation to them. We q I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty convenient; we passed by it constantly. I'm not sure how far it is to the subway station since we took taxis everywhere and didn't use the metro, but I did notice a subway station nearby. The room was a bit small, but the staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was also quite good. Overall, I'm satisfied.

AAnonymous UserLocation was a really plus point. Hotel is clean and the room is as per what is stated on the website. I used the washer and dryer and you can tell they are clean and well maintained too. Clothes smell really good after the wash.
Service was excellent. Staff can help with your laundry and accept your taobao parcels.
Just note that the restaurant is currently under renovation so there is limited breakfast selection. But the staff told me if I think the choices are too limited, they can always do a refund. Happy that they are being flexible. Overall, I am happy with the hotel and will stay here again if I ever come back to Beijing again.

TThree BamboosI love this hotel for its location, if you have time you can walk from the subway or take a taxi for 10-15 rmb. The location also has many eateries and malls nearby. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very delicious both western and Chinese. The room was clean and everything was just perfect. I recommend to solo travellers. It's far from the main city center but subway is available.

AAnonymous UserWhat a pleasant surprise! Every detail in the room made us feel incredibly comfortable. My son especially loved the setup of the lounge area; the wall art and lighting were perfectly matched, creating a stylish ambiance. The kitchen was an absolute bonus, fully equipped with a Siemens dishwasher and washing machine, and all the dishes and pots were neatly organized. Traveling with a child, I didn't have to worry about a thing – it was so convenient to prepare baby food or warm up meals for him. It truly felt like home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Beijing!
GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
GGuest UserThe room size was just right, perfect for families. Housekeeping cleaned daily and promptly refilled amenities. The service was attentive and friendly. It's very close to Wangfujing, and the subway station is just a 400-meter walk, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby like Longfu Temple, Nanchengxiang, and Ziguangyuan. Great value for money, definitely recommended!
