PPipajiKicking off our spring break, we headed south through Guilin, Yangshuo, Nanning, and Beihai. Yangshuo Wangjianglou Inn was by far the most comfortable and convenient place we stayed. The inn's design and layout exceeded my expectations; the quality was truly impressive. Given the limitations of the building itself, they ingeniously installed a luggage elevator, which was incredibly thoughtful for both guests and staff – big thumbs up! Yangshuo county is quite small, so there's really no need to stay directly in the scenic area (it's inconvenient, overpriced, and you'd need taxis for meals and transportation, adding to costs). Staying in the West Street commercial district was a very smart decision. We stayed and ate at Wangjianglou (for those who know, their restaurant is a super popular, must-try spot in Yangshuo with long queues!). As a guest, you don't have to wait; the front desk concierge helps with reservations directly, and you even get a 10% discount on meals, which is a fantastic deal. I'm already planning to bring my family back after May Day and will definitely be staying at Wangjianglou again!

After attending a concert in Nanning, I thought I'd come to Yangshuo for a vacation. For me, a good hotel can meet many needs. From hardware to software, thoughtful service makes you feel more at ease. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt that thoughtfulness.
I'm quite a stickler for details. The hotel's cleanliness, the maintenance of its public areas, and even the toiletries are all meticulously chosen. The refrigerator, kettle, and hairdryer are all carefully prepared and not just thrown in. Also, the bathrobe is incredibly comfortable! That's a rare find! I booked a room with a terrace, and sitting there in the afternoon or early morning, you can really feel the tranquility of the mountains.
The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and there was also an afternoon tea (the desserts were tasty too). Initially, when I came to Yangshuo, I only felt that the scenery was beautiful. But staying at this hotel, I truly realized that even in such a so-called 'paradise,' you can experience a different, perhaps even more luxurious, feeling.
Honestly, if you want an excellent experience when you come to Yangshuo, you can choose this hotel. It's incredibly convenient whether you're going to eat at Ten-Mile Gallery or explore the old town. More importantly, the scenery viewed from within the hotel is absolutely twice as wonderful, without the crowds and noise (a true resort destination!). You really can fall in love with a city because of a hotel.
Everything above is my genuine feeling. The hotel's attention to detail is truly heartfelt, especially the large public lawn in front of the hotel, which gives a very relaxing and pleasant feeling. Considering the guest's experience, thumbs up!

QQihuyoutianxiaThe location is great, making it easy to arrange transportation. It's right at the end point of the bamboo raft cruise, so you arrive directly at the hotel. It's the first hotel in the village and has several restaurants nearby. The environment is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery, with a Yulong River tributary flowing right in front. The hotel even offers electric scooters for exploring the Ten-Mile Gallery. Both the hotel and the rooms are very new, clean, and well-equipped. The service is excellent and attentive; all the staff are polite and greet you warmly. They deliver a fruit platter, nuts, and candied fruit to your room daily and proactively helped us plan our itinerary. The breakfast is delicious, and the 5th-floor restaurant offers the best views. They even gave us a souvenir when we checked out. I've stayed in many great guesthouses in recent years, but this one is probably my favorite, and the price is reasonable.

The room is built right by the river; opening the window reveals the quietly flowing water and continuous mountain peaks. In the morning, mist swirls, and in the evening, the glow of the sunset paints the water – it's unbelievably beautiful.
The bedding was very comfortable, and the facilities were clean and well-designed, with thoughtful touches evident everywhere.
The service was also very attentive. The front desk lady was gentle and enthusiastic, and her recommendations for local Guilin rice noodles and the Yulong River bamboo raft route were excellent.
Sitting on the riverside terrace at night, feeling the breeze and listening to the water, I felt completely healed. It's not just a hotel; it's a place where you can truly find peace of mind. The hotel also offered a complimentary travel photography session, and the photographer was very enthusiastic. Thumbs up! [Strong][Strong]

BBeizhuyixiabaThe location is excellent, very close to the 20-yuan Lijiang River scenic pier. The environment is clean and tidy, and the room is very spacious. The service attitude is superb. I booked for two nights and was supposed to check out by 12 PM on the third day. However, on the second night, my child was hit by a car and transferred to Guilin Hospital. It wasn't until the evening of the third day that my husband had time to go check out and pack our luggage. The owner kept the room for us and didn't rush us to check out at all. The owner is a truly compassionate person; they repeatedly inquired about my child's condition, didn't charge us for the late checkout, and even gave my child a red envelope. For this booking, the owner truly went above and beyond, practically losing money. Such big-hearted owners are truly rare. I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth. Thank you for your immense kindness.

Every staff member at the guesthouse took exceptional care of us; they were incredibly thoughtful, friendly, and attentive. During our stay, they also provided afternoon tea and cocktails, which was a fantastic experience. The guesthouse boasts beautiful scenery, and the rooms are spacious and very clean. From the balcony, you can enjoy views of the Yulong River and the mountains. Nearby, you can enjoy bamboo rafting on the Yulong River, and a 30-minute Didi ride will take you to Yangshuo West Street, Qianli Jiangshan Scenic Area, and Xianggu Mountain. Waking up and opening the window to a lush green landscape was so relaxing and refreshing. The front desk offers electric bike rentals that are in excellent condition with plenty of battery life, and at a great price. It was super convenient for riding to Yulong River and Ten-Mile Gallery, allowing us to enjoy the scenery with the wind in our hair – so free and enjoyable. The service was thoughtful and attentive, making getting around incredibly easy. The value for money is unbeatable; choosing this place for your trip to Yangshuo is definitely the right call!

WWusuobunengdexiaoheigeI’d been eyeing this place since its Alila days, but only managed to visit after it was delisted. Post-delisting, it feels too much like an influencer hotspot, losing that luxury resort charm.
Our room was arranged too close to the road. The trucks speeding along the mountain road made closing the windows almost useless. What I found most unacceptable were the linens. I really want to ask, how many years have these linens been in use? Whether it was the pillows or the duvet, there was absolutely no sense of comfort or luxurious embrace you’d expect from a luxury resort. Just rough, heavy, suffocating fabrics, combined with the noisy traffic from the road, made for terrible sleep. I strongly suggest the hotel updates its linens, especially the pillows, as they are crucial, while also upgrading other hardware. The hotel is beautiful, but that's all it has going for it.
Reconstruction under a historical building gives it a new narrative, but from many angles, the operations feel more like hype than substance. After seeing the business trends in Yangshuo, it's hard for this place not to follow suit. I still recommend everyone to come and experience it, but when the only link a hotel has to luxury resort status is its high price, it's difficult for it to truly thrive.

We stayed in the family balcony suite, and it was so spacious that our child immediately started running around excitedly upon entering. It even came with a small tent and a building block table. With a large balcony and two bathrooms, our family of four was super comfortable, and my parents had their own private space. The room featured a king-sized bed and two single beds, plus four complimentary breakfasts – so convenient and great value.
The hotel really pays attention to family-friendly details: there's an indoor kids' play area and they gave us 20 game tokens, which kept our child entertained for hours. The bedside tables have wireless chargers, so no more searching for cables. The balcony has a drying rack and a rattan swing chair, making laundry super easy. Plus, there's free underground parking and EV charging spots, so driving here is stress-free.
And the 'Sky Realm' on the rooftop? Absolutely stunning for photos! The mirrored installation reflects the blue sky, white clouds, and the mountains of Yangshuo, making every shot look like a magazine cover. It's also just a 10-minute walk to West Street, which is super convenient for trying beer fish and exploring the night market. If you're coming to Yangshuo with kids, just book this place – you won't regret it!

GGuest UserThis guesthouse is nestled right within the Ten-Mile Gallery and Yulong River scenic area. The facilities are brand new, the pool is fantastic, and everything is well-equipped and perfectly maintained.
It's just a 3-minute walk to Shuieqi Pier, where you can easily hop on a bamboo raft – super convenient! You can also rent a scooter and take a leisurely ride along the riverbank. The scenery is breathtaking, with endless green mountains, crystal-clear water, and pastoral views all along the way. There are plenty of spots to stop and take photos, offering an immersive experience of a real-life landscape painting. The breakfast ingredients are incredibly fresh and substantial, with over a dozen varieties – rich and satisfying! The location is excellent, the views are delightful, and everything from dining to accommodation and transportation is comfortable. My entire trip was a perfect 10, and I genuinely recommend staying at Poqu Qidu Guesthouse in Yangshuo.
