"A 3 minute walk from the train station right off of the Main Street in Zermatt and a block away from McDonald’s lol. Super clean, super cute room. The bathroom was older but I was fine with it bc it was well maintained and clean. They provided a hot water kettle and cup which I used every morning. They didn’t provide coffee, but the Coop market was down the street so I was able to get the things I needed for breakfast. There is a very mini fridge in the room, big enough for small things. I’m a solo traveler so this room was plenty for me. They do have breakfast from, I believe 7a - 10a. Different types of bread, fruit, yogurts, it’s not an American breakfast so don’t Great location, 3 minute walk to the free bus stop to take you to any of the gondolas. Highly recommended. I’d stay here again."
"Simple hotel right in the heart of town. Old world decor but modern breakfast hall. Clean rooms and excellent bathroom (the shower was super powerful and the bath vast). Convenient for centre of town and 4 mins walk to station."
"A perfect boutique hotel in the heart of Zermatt, centrally located on the main shopping street and just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, thoughtful pre-arrival WhatsApp messages from the front desk, and even a partial Matterhorn view from the balcony upon request. Only minor flaw was the pillow being a bit too flat, but everything else was truly perfect!"
"The hotel was quite easy to find actually. Just follow the directions on Google Map. We had the family room which was at the top level (2 flight of stairs) and comes with a balcony. Their rooms don't have matterhorn views but the breakfast restaurant has a beautiful and clear view. Very comfy and no frills stay here!"
"The huge Matterhorn seemed just outside my balcony room. The iconic view changed form before sunrise to after sunset. The restaurant served good meals with nice staff. The front desk is also helpful and saved our time to plan our stay in Zermatt."
"Location is excellent. Short walk to Train station, rail to the mountains, supermarket and main shopping street Took the room facing the Matterhorn and view is very nice. Room included simple breakfast"

Amazing
SStellakwansyStaying at this hotel in Zermatt was an unforgettable experience! The location is perfect—just 500 meters from the train station, making it incredibly convenient. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality from the owners, Thor and Michele. They personally served the buffet breakfast every morning, which was both delicious and thoughtfully prepared. On my first day, I unfortunately missed breakfast, but as I was heading out around 10:45 am, they surprised me by reserving some food for me to enjoy before leaving. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that truly made me feel cared for. The room itself was immaculate and had everything I needed. The balcony offered a stunning mountain view, which was a perfect way to start and end each day. Thor and Michele went above and beyond to make me feel like a VIP throughout my stay. They remembered my name, attended to every need, and even took the time to explain the local attractions and recommend food options based on my preferences. I feel incredibly lucky to have secured two nights at this gem of a hotel, especially since it’s almost always fully booked. This was one of the most personal and heartwarming stays I’ve ever had. If you’re visiting Zermatt, staying here is an absolute must. Thank you, Thor and Michele, for making my trip so memorable!
IIzzaPizzaThoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The excellent service rendered by the staff made our honeymoon much sweeter. Everyone was friendly, kind and always willing to help. Room was really nice and the extra sauna and open concept bathtub was a nice surprise! Breakfast spread was super delicious as well. Facilities like the wellness area include foot bath, infrared chairs, jacuzzi etc.
Sspid kohThe staff are friendly and the drinks in the mini bars are free..... They are generous with the food, they even have bread, nuts and fruits all day next to the check-in desk.
GGenesis.MYThe stay would be ideal if the room included a fan, as it can feel a bit stuffy while sleeping during the summer. The location is convenient, and the kids' club, spa, and pool offer plenty of fun for the children.
GGuest UserThe hotel was in 5 minutes walking from Zermatt train station and it offered free shuttle for check in and out as there was a steep path to the hotel entrance, not good to walk with luggages. I booked 2 bedrooms family suite but only with one bathroom which was the downside. However, the total space of 60 meter sq with a decent living room and a small balcony facing Matterhorn were a plus to the overall stay. There were some minor defects and the staff fixed efficiently. They had an indoor pool, a jacuzzi and a sauna room. I had to mention that the jacuzzi was of high standard and you must go after a day of hiking. So bring your swimming suit. However, please note that in there culture, no clothes are allowed to enter the sauna room and it is in mixed genders. The breakfast buffet was lack of choices. But I had to specially name Mr Fernando, he always welcome us with very good coffee and of course his warm greetings in the morning. Suggestion to the hotel: 1. Stated clearly the number of bathroom/ toilet in the booking details regarding my booking is a 2 bedrooms suite. 2. More choices for breakfast, my family stays 4 nights there. Everyday, the menu is same. 3. The pool was closed at 8pm, will be better if it closes at 9pm as it was rather rush for the guests to use after dinner. Overall, I recommend this hotel to family. I will come back again.
IInFiNiTy BenZThe staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout the stay, always willing to assist when needed. Upon arriving in Zermatt and taking the Gornergrat Bahn, it is highly recommended to call the hotel in advance so they can arrange luggage pickup at Riffelberg station. Pulling luggage by yourself can be quite challenging, as the path involves walking through snow and crossing ski areas. One of the highlights of this hotel is the breathtaking and unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The mountain is clearly visible from the hotel area, and there is truly no need to go elsewhere just to enjoy this iconic view. The outdoor jacuzzi is a wonderful feature; however, on some days the water temperature was not warm enough, making it comfortable to use only on certain occasions. Dinner is served as a set course menu. Each evening, there are two main dish options: one meat dish (which changes daily, such as beef, pork, or fish) and one vegetarian option. The food quality is very good and tasty, but the service is relatively slow — completing the full course takes around two hours. The hotel is well equipped with an elevator that provides access to all floors, which is very convenient, especially when carrying belongings.
GGuest UserShort walking distance from the train station and nearby attractions. Breakfast was adequate and they served complimentary coffee tea and some cakes around 430pm. Service from the staff was alright nothing extraordinary.
GGuest UserGreat hostel with morning Matterhorn view from our room. Delicious breakfast provided. Only that u have to arrive earlier before 7pm if planning to get a free bus ride to the hostel. Unfortunate for us, we arrive late after 10pm and no more bus available. Thus have to pull our big luggage up hill in 1km distance. But staff is good, we informed for late arrival then they pasted our envelope containing room card access infront of the door. Thanks for that. Then we asked the counter staff for bus schedule next day. Nearest bus station is Luchre, just in front of hotel. can get schedule from SBB apps (Zermat bahnof- Luchre). They also provide free luggage storage after checkout. Great experience in Zermatt and recommended hostel as long as u arrive early 😀
