Hotels with Kitchenette in Kanazawa

"This hotel was the best one throughout our trip. Having visited Kanazawa before, I knew all their hotels are basically on the same street, making the location extremely convenient for attractions and well-situated. So, I didn't choose the usual hotel but picked this one which seemed like a good value for money. And the check-in experience was absolutely perfect. It's been a while since I've experienced Japanese-style service, and their service here was quite good. Although it's not a traditional ryokan 'okami' service (where they unpack your bags), all their staff members were incredibly polite and enthusiastic. The hotel is directly opposite Oyama Shrine, and you can walk through to Gyokusen-en Garden. We spent about 20 minutes exploring it in the morning. However, one thing to note is that linen changes and bathroom cleaning are subject to an additional charge. This might be something to consider for longer stays, but since we were only there for two days, it wasn't an issue. We booked a room with some basic kitchen utensils, so we were able to buy ingredients from the supermarket and make sukiyaki, which helped us balance our diet during the trip. The hotel is also very close to Omicho Market, making it convenient to buy fresh seafood and other groceries. For those on a shorter trip, cooking might not be necessary. Also, the hotel is quite new, and the room wasn't small, so it was very comfortable."

"Overall had a comfortable 6 nites stay. Location wise is good as walking distance to Kanazawa Station. Please note there is no room cleaning for stay less than 1 week. Had daily breakfast but dont expect buffet style as they only serve coffee tea juices , there is bread and soup rotation every day. Comment on soup perhaps staff can heat up soup as served warm only. Laundry is avail. Wd be nice if guest can be a bit more responsible to collect and clear their clean laundry after it is completed instead leaving it there overnight of which i have noticed it on a few occasion when all laundry machines are occupied. Other than that - there is no coffee tea bags in the guestroom although there are mugs n electric kettle available. Why there is none available at the Lounge for guest to take to the room as lounge is only open for breakfast 7am to 9am. There are no guests sitting in the lounge after 9am."

"The room was spacious, but the breakfast was basic. Having stayed in several three- and four-star hotels in Japan, the breakfast at Omo5 was the simplest, with only three set menus to choose from. It wasn't to my taste, especially for a three-day stay. It was truly disappointing."

"First of all, I want to mention check-in. Because I didn’t read the information carefully, I arrived at Neon Hotel at about 9pm. I didn’t know how to enter after that. Fortunately, we met some guests who told us that we found out that we had to go to the train station first. Please check in at Hotel Kanazawa first. They will give you the access code of Neon Hotel to enter the hotel and room. The room is clean and tidy, with enough space for the four of us to stay comfortably. There is a washing machine in the room for washing clothes. It is very convenient. The location of the hotel is a bit difficult to find, but of course you can find it by using Google Maps. There is no parking lot nearby. It takes about 5 minutes to walk. The hotel is about 7 minutes from the train station, which is quite convenient."

"The first time I went to Kanazawa, the hotel was great. It was suitable for family and children. There was a separate washing machine in the bathroom. There was also a drying rack in the muji room. The fragrance spray refrigerator and the freezer were also prepared. There was a supermarket next door downstairs. I bought some delicious ice cream in the refrigerator. It was really square. Just next to the hotel front desk is a small bar. At night, I will listen to the vinyl records. I will drink a whisky. Special reminder. We live on the 9th floor (top floor) and have a balcony. You can see the scenery outside at any time. I just watched the fireworks and sunrise that day. A great experience."
