Kanazawa Kokusai Hotel

The place was very clean and I had a pleasant stay. The Kaga cuisine and local sake were delicious, and the breakfast buffet, including Kanazawa oden, was also great.

Since my child's university is nearby, we often stay here for events. Even when traveling alone, the twin room is spacious, the bed is large, and the view from the room is nice, so I really like it. This time, as it was a women-only offer, I received a set of cosmetics including lotion. It's a little far from the city center, but I had a comfortable stay.

Although the building is old, it was kept very clean, so it didn't bother me much. The location is a bit far from the city center, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby, so finding dinner isn't a problem. In fact, I'd recommend it to people who prefer a quieter atmosphere. The breakfast had a wide variety of delicious options, and I ended up eating too much! I'd like to stay there again if I'm in the area.

The room was by no means what I would call clean. Maybe it's because I'm a bit of a clean freak, but as it's an old-fashioned hotel, it might be okay if you're just staying there. However, the staff were polite and pleasant.

Although it was old, the room had a nice atmosphere and was very relaxing. The tatami room was spacious and comfortable. I ordered breakfast as an extra, but I wish I had chosen a plan that included it from the start. I was happy that there were menu items such as Kanazawa ochazuke and other dishes made with local ingredients.

The hotel itself is old, but the room was relatively clean. I was concerned about the mold and dirt in the bathroom, but I guess it's understandable considering the hotel's age. I was disappointed that the lighting in the room was dim, and when I opened the curtains to see the view, the window was covered in spider webs. I also didn't have a laundry room. There was an ice machine on the fifth floor, which I used. The hotel's service was very good. It's only about 20 minutes from Kanazawa Station, so it didn't feel that far.

It's a bit far from Kanazawa Station, but the views are amazing! ☺︎ The shuttle bus is free, which was a great help.

The room was spacious and the bed was king size, which was nice. There were only three lamps in the room, which made it feel different from usual. It felt like an old-fashioned room. The air conditioner and TV were not remote controlled, and the lights in the room were not LED. I'd rate this a 4-star hotel for a budget-friendly trip.
