"An unexpected surprise! The views are incredible, overlooking the entire Miao village. Both the morning and evening scenery were fantastic. I really loved the duplex design; it was very clean, and the shower pressure was excellent. Staying here felt so relaxing. Having breakfast on the observation deck in the morning was a unique experience. The service was also top-notch; they thoughtfully sent a welcome message and tips beforehand. The location was easy to find, and the travel guide they provided for the scenic area was really good – we had a nice lunch at a recommended spot. They even had two Doraemon comic books in the restroom, which my friend absolutely loved reading!"

"Xijiang is so beautiful. This store is near the observation deck. It takes only a minute to walk. Although it is not a view, the room is quite big. The standard room is two 1.5 meters of beds, and it is comfortable to sleep. The boss's service is also OK, and we will tell you where to eat and how to play. I will choose this one next time I come in the off-season."

"The room was very clean and spacious. The owner even helped us with our luggage from the scenic viewpoint drop-off and back to the pick-up point upon check-out. On the day we checked in, they gave us a whole plate of fruit and explained how to best explore the Miao Village. They also offered free Miao traditional costume experiences, which looked very clean, but we opted for a professional makeup and styling service instead, so we didn't try them out. The breakfast was very generous, and the owner's hand-ground coffee was delicious! They thoughtfully asked if we preferred it hot or cold. All the water and drinks were also complimentary, so we didn't need to buy any in the scenic area. PS: My absolute favorite was the rocking chair in the room – I wish I could get one for my own home, hehe! The projector screen was huge, and the whole room was smart-enabled; you could easily control everything by just saying ”Xiao Du Xiao Du” (the smart assistant's name). I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends if they visit in the future! 😆"

In the early morning, a thin mist hangs over the wooden stilt houses, and the distant chirping of birds creates a refreshing atmosphere. As night falls, the village lights up, and the bustling crowds fill the entire Miao Village with life and energy. Besides the captivating scenery, there's also mouth-watering food, with every bite tasting like home. Friends who are planning to visit Miao Village, come and experience this unique charm! We stayed at Shawan Homestay, which has a comfortable environment and an excellent view. The butler service was warm and attentive, and the facilities were very upscale. We were very satisfied with both the stay and the food. This trip was delightful!"

"On this festive day, with two young children and loads of luggage, the journey into the scenic area wasn't smooth. The commercial hustle and bustle was irritating, but a simple Miao couple soothed us with a bowl of sweet soup and gentle words, calming our restlessness. I always consider myself a lucky traveler. I'd looked at guesthouses more expensive than ”Nanshanshe,” and even considered choosing one after entering the scenic area, but fate had other plans. The owners are a young couple who returned to their hometown to start a business. Hearing her casually mention, ”You're staying in the same place celebrities stay,” listening to her slowly recount the changes in the Miao village, proudly displaying Miao embroidery, and other interesting personal treasures (which I quietly added to my collection 😏)... I think I've already found what I wanted most for this trip. The location is easy to find, right on the main road after entering from the west gate. Just a short walk downhill from the shuttle bus stop, no need to climb stairs, and it avoids the noisy commercial street. The scenery is beautiful, especially the rooftop observation deck; it's a pity we couldn't stay in a top-floor room. The facilities have a homey feel, and the children's area is my older son's ”happy place”... Well, see you next time!"

"A very satisfying stay! The owner, Brother Wang, is a seasoned guesthouse owner with experience all over the country. His service was warm, attentive, and considerate; he was always there for everyone, even offering surprising itineraries and restaurant recommendations – truly amazing! The guesthouse's decor was also very thoughtful, probably unique in the village. I wonder what surprises await after the renovations; looking forward to my next visit. Environment: Very convenient, right next to the Lusheng (a traditional reed pipe instrument) area. Service: Thoughtful and attentive."

"First, the owner and housekeeper were very nice, and the service was very thoughtful and attentive. I think when you're in a foreign place, what you most want is a warm welcome and a sense of security, and fortunately, I found both at this place. Second, the location and view. It's located halfway up the mountain, with a snack bar and jewelry store just downstairs, very convenient. The view is as shown in the picture, with a wide view, taking in most of the Miao village at night. In the early morning, with a light drizzle, it was very relaxing to sit on the balcony and eat. Finally, the cleanliness and facilities were excellent for a B&B. The bedding and bathroom were spotless, and the pillow was an Atour Deep Sleep latex pillow, surprisingly the same one I use at home. There was also a face towel at the sink, and I used Kleenex toothpaste. There were also disposable toilet and bath covers. Also, the owner's coffee shop is very romantic, and the coffee is delicious and unique. 👍🏻 All in all, I'm very satisfied with my choice and highly recommend it to everyone. "Halfway up the mountain near Bridge No. 4, it’s quite tiring to go up and down the mountain. B&Bs and residential houses are piled up next to each other... It’s best to travel lightly... Thank you very much to the guy at the store for helping carry your luggage! The left side of the window of this room type is blocked by a tree, and the view from the right is good! The sanitary conditions and environment are really average, especially when I open the window, the smell of the toilet from nowhere comes in with the wind!"

"A satisfactory homestay in Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village! Exceeded expectations, hot water is super sufficient, and the living is particularly comfortable. The room is very wooden decoration with Miao Village characteristics. The window is the stacked hanging building of Miao Village. The view is directly full. You can have a panoramic view of Miao Village without crowding the observation deck. The scenery in the morning and evening is superb. The boss is also very caring, the communication is very smooth throughout the whole process, it is really not a loss to come to Miao Village to choose this one, and I will stay here next time!"
