GGuest UserSeriously, I have to highlight this: our butler was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond, paying attention to every little detail. The inn is located halfway up the mountain, offering unparalleled views. You don't need to crowd onto the public observation decks; you get to enjoy the panoramic views of the Miao Village all to yourself. We took the shuttle to the village's viewpoint, and it was so crowded and tiring. When we got back to the inn, we realized the private view from there was much more relaxing and enjoyable.
The room gets great natural light and was spotlessly clean. Both the balcony and the room itself are fantastic for photos, looking good day or night. The front desk even has fill lights available for taking portraits with the night view, so your own photos turn out beautifully. They also provided us with a tourist guide booklet. In the evening, the butler could even help us draw a bath, with options for milk baths or Yao ethnic baths. This inn offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserThe butler contacted me a day in advance. We agreed to meet at the west gate, and as soon as he saw us, he helped with our luggage and accompanied us all the way to the hotel. He even prepared afternoon tea for us beforehand. The hotel's location isn't far from the observation deck, which is very convenient!
The service was excellent. Since there weren't many people, they even helped us upgrade our room.
The room's view was absolutely stunning. I didn't want to leave the room; I could lie down and see the entire Miao village, with its water, bridges, and tiled houses, all from a prime spot. There's also an observation deck upstairs, which is definitely on par with any other popular photo spot in the village.
After visiting all the popular spots in the Miao village, I still felt that the view from the room was the best.
Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserService: The day before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to provide thoughtful check-in instructions and parking advice. From the moment we arrived at the scenic area's ticket gate, the housekeeper helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, and on our way back, they also helped us carry our bags to the exit. They even upgraded us to a spacious duplex room, thanks to Cola the housekeeper â truly excellent! đ Upon arrival, we were given an electronic or paper map of the scenic area, and they explained recommended sightseeing routes and attractions. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea after checking in, perfect for photos. Most importantly, I had originally planned a professional photoshoot, but ended up DIY-ing two outfits from the hotel, which turned out beautifully, saving me hundreds on photography fees!
Hygiene and Environment: No need to elaborate, the location is superb, right at the viewing platform. You arrive as soon as you get off the sightseeing bus, which is very convenient. The best part is that you don't even need to leave the guesthouse to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Miao Village from your own room's viewing balcony or the hotel lobby's terrace.
Booking this place outside of holidays is definitely a steal â it truly lives up to its reputation! Many thanks to Cola the housekeeper for their thoughtful care.

The service was equally impressive; the butler contacted us in advance, helped carry our luggage up the stairs, and offered thoughtful touches like free Miao costume try-ons, afternoon tea, and a warm sweet soup at night . GGuest UserI never expected the biggest surprise of my trip to be this guesthouse in the Miao Village! đ The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the observation deck. If you enter from the West Gate, you just walk a bit and then take the shuttle bus directly to the hotel. This is quite important in Miao Village, as you wouldn't want to carry your luggage up and down. You can enjoy the view from both the room and the lobby lounge. On a rainy day, this spot is perfect for enjoying the scenery, much better than being out with all the other tourists. The room facilities are very new and high-quality, definitely on par with a five-star hotel. The mini-fridge in the room is thoughtfully stocked with drinks, and we were even treated to afternoon tea upon arrival. Self-service laundry is also available, which was super convenient since our clothes were damp from the past two days â we could wash and dry them. The housekeeper was incredibly warm and friendly; she handled our transfers and helped us with our luggage the whole way. Breakfast is made-to-order, very fresh and delicious. If you're traveling to Xijiang, I truly highly recommend this guesthouse.

MmangodoreenFirst off, a huge thanks to the guys who helped us with our luggage to and from the scenic area! And a big shout-out to every staff member at the guesthouse â from those who helped with laundry to those who consistently brought our afternoon tea and evening sweet soup right to our room.
The guesthouse's location is also super convenient; the viewing platform is just a few minutes' walk away, and the room views are absolutely fantastic. The afternoon we arrived, it was raining, so instead of exploring the village, we just enjoyed the scenery from our room.
Finally, the guesthouse's afternoon tea, breakfast, and the evening white fungus soup were all delicious, especially the coffee with the barista's lovely latte art!
All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our two-night stay and would definitely come back if we have the chance! My little one loved it too and kept talking about wanting to go back even after we left, haha. All the photos were taken from our room.

Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserWe arrived in Xijiang and were immediately met with such a kind surpriseâthey upgraded our room for my birthday, which truly set the tone for our entire stay. We were on the third floor with the most wonderful view, looking out over their little water feature and the village beyond. Our balcony, complete with a tea set and two chairs, quickly became one of our favorite spots. Sitting there, especially in the evening, felt magicalâlike we were nestled among the stars overlooking the town.
The location is fantasticâjust a short walk from the viewing platform and easily accessible down into the main village. Arriving was also incredibly smooth. As first-time visitors to China, we were quite nervous navigating trains and logistics as English speakers, but the hotel staff stepped in early with clear, thoughtful guidance. From the very beginning, they were attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind.
When we arrived at the North Gate after taking the shuttle into the scenic area, a staff member met us and carried both of our bags up the hill and stairs to the accommodation. This was such a thoughtful gestureâespecially because the terrain can be challenging. (For future travelers: if possible, avoid bringing heavy suitcasesâbut if you do, youâll be very well taken care of here.)
Check-in was seamless, and our room was extremely comfortable with all the amenities we needed. They provided water, soft robes, and made communication very easy via WeChat. Breakfast was also a highlightâwe opted for the Chinese breakfast, which was light, healthy, and a perfect way to start the day before exploring all the incredible street food in town.
We especially loved the communal living spaceâa cozy cafĂ©-style area with a balcony overlooking the village. It was such a peaceful place to sit, have tea, and take in the views both during the day and under the night sky. They also had everything you could need: a coffee maker, dishes, mugs, and even fresh spring water, which was a lovely touch.
The warmth of the people here truly made the experience unforgettable. The housekeeping staff were so kind, and the younger staff members were incredibly helpful and attentive. It really felt like being welcomed into a home rather than just staying at a hotel. And the little cats around the property made it even more special.
On our departure day, we were running late for the last bus, and one of the younger staff members carried my very heavy bag down the hill and practically ran with it to make sure we made it on time. He stayed with us until we were safely on board. That level of care and service is something we will never forget.
We would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, thank you, thank you again to the family and the entire staff for your kindness and for taking such wonderful care of us. You made our short stay in Xijiang an absolute pleasure and a weekend we will remember forever.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect â the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
