GGuest UserSeriously, I have to highlight this: our butler was amazing! Super friendly, attentive, and always went above and beyond, paying attention to every little detail. The inn is located halfway up the mountain, offering unparalleled views. You don't need to crowd onto the public observation decks; you get to enjoy the panoramic views of the Miao Village all to yourself. We took the shuttle to the village's viewpoint, and it was so crowded and tiring. When we got back to the inn, we realized the private view from there was much more relaxing and enjoyable. The room gets great natural light and was spotlessly clean. Both the balcony and the room itself are fantastic for photos, looking good day or night. The front desk even has fill lights available for taking portraits with the night view, so your own photos turn out beautifully. They also provided us with a tourist guide booklet. In the evening, the butler could even help us draw a bath, with options for milk baths or Yao ethnic baths. This inn offers incredible value for money. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

GGuest UserJust got back from Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village and I have to rave about Tianhe Shiguang! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the west side of Wind-Rain Bridge No. 5. Step outside and you're at the Necklace Square and Bairiver boardwalk. Head up for the viewing platform, or stroll downriver to Bridge No. 1, all super close for exploring and dining. Even though it's in the heart of the action, it's surprisingly quiet, away from the noisy bars on the main street. In the room, all you hear is the gentle sound of the flowing water, which made for a really deep sleep. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, especially the rice noodles. What really impressed me was the butler who proactively met us at the bridge to help with all our heavy luggage, both on arrival and departure, even taking our bags to Bridge No. 5 when we checked out. New rooms, new facilities, and smart home features throughout – highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe butler contacted me a day in advance. We agreed to meet at the west gate, and as soon as he saw us, he helped with our luggage and accompanied us all the way to the hotel. He even prepared afternoon tea for us beforehand. The hotel's location isn't far from the observation deck, which is very convenient! The service was excellent. Since there weren't many people, they even helped us upgrade our room. The room's view was absolutely stunning. I didn't want to leave the room; I could lie down and see the entire Miao village, with its water, bridges, and tiled houses, all from a prime spot. There's also an observation deck upstairs, which is definitely on par with any other popular photo spot in the village. After visiting all the popular spots in the Miao village, I still felt that the view from the room was the best. Next time I visit, I'll definitely stay here again!

GGuest UserService: The day before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to provide thoughtful check-in instructions and parking advice. From the moment we arrived at the scenic area's ticket gate, the housekeeper helped us with our luggage all the way to our room, and on our way back, they also helped us carry our bags to the exit. They even upgraded us to a spacious duplex room, thanks to Cola the housekeeper – truly excellent! 👍 Upon arrival, we were given an electronic or paper map of the scenic area, and they explained recommended sightseeing routes and attractions. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea after checking in, perfect for photos. Most importantly, I had originally planned a professional photoshoot, but ended up DIY-ing two outfits from the hotel, which turned out beautifully, saving me hundreds on photography fees! Hygiene and Environment: No need to elaborate, the location is superb, right at the viewing platform. You arrive as soon as you get off the sightseeing bus, which is very convenient. The best part is that you don't even need to leave the guesthouse to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the Miao Village from your own room's viewing balcony or the hotel lobby's terrace. Booking this place outside of holidays is definitely a steal – it truly lives up to its reputation! Many thanks to Cola the housekeeper for their thoughtful care.

GGuest UserFacilities: Excellent, really well-equipped. Ambiance: Very stylish design, especially the ground floor in the evening, which has a fantastic vibe. Cleanliness: Spotless, on par with five-star hotels. Service: The room butler was incredibly attentive. The staff member helped with our luggage the whole time, and communication via WeChat was prompt and responsive. GGuest UserThey created a WeChat group beforehand to provide guidance on check-in/check-out and other important notes. The butler met us at the sightseeing shuttle drop-off point and even helped with our luggage when we left. Their service was excellent. The room was a bit small and had low ceilings, but it was well-equipped, even featuring a projector. Located on the hillside, the room offered a nice night view.

YYakabaweishouThe hotel's location is excellent. We took the scenic bus from Ximen to the observation deck, and a hotel staff member helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Coming down from the observation deck, there's a relatively steep path, but the advantage is that the hotel is high enough, nestled halfway up the mountain, so you don't need to return to the observation deck for night views – the view is just like in the picture. If you choose a hotel too low, you might be bothered by music and barbecue smoke at night. The path down to the commercial street is quite gentle, so even with average stamina, you can go back and forth twice a day. In the afternoon, we returned to the hotel to relax and enjoy the complimentary afternoon tea. There was also free sweet soup in the evening. Furthermore, all the bath amenities were L'Occitane Verbena scented. Aside from the hot water being a bit slow, everything else was perfect.

GGuest UserThe location is absolutely unbeatable! It's just 50 meters from the observation deck, a two-minute walk straight there. No crowds, no uphill climbs – you can easily catch the rolling sea of clouds in the morning and the twinkling city lights at sunset. This is the ultimate viewing spot, a dream come true for anyone who loves convenience! The room was so quiet I could hear the chirping of insects. The Wabi-sabi style decor was incredibly tasteful, with solid wood furniture and rattan soft furnishings creating a perfect mountain wilderness ambiance. And the cleanliness was impeccable; the bedding was soft and gentle on the skin, and every corner was spotless. Even a neat freak like me felt completely at ease, able to relax and recover from travel fatigue. The butler service was thoughtful to its core! From route guidance before entering the village to luggage transfer upon arrival and recommendations for sightseeing, it was a personalized, one-on-one service that catered to every request, just like a friend. The hand-drawn map was very detailed. The biggest surprise was the free batik experience! An intangible cultural heritage inheritor taught us hand-on, from drawing patterns with beeswax to indigo dyeing. Making a unique batik piece with my own hands, bringing home a thousand-year-old craft from the Miao village, was incredibly fulfilling. The guesthouse also offers Miao costume experiences and has a café. The public areas are super photogenic, allowing you to capture atmospheric shots without needing filters. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the main Miao village street yet close to the core scenic area, offering both tranquility and convenience. Qi Feng Xin Hou Shan packages intangible cultural heritage, attentive service, and stunning scenery all into one. This is exactly what travel should be like!

HHailiwoniuI highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

GGuest UserI stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!
