"This feels like a family-run guesthouse, almost like a converted home, and it's very close to the train station. It was a strange coincidence – when I took a taxi from Hue train station to the hotel, the driver, who spoke excellent English, gave me a tour of the sights along the way. Three days later, when I hailed a taxi to go to the Hue office to leave town, it was the same driver! For my first meal after checking in, I went to a beef hotpot place inside the Imperial City. It didn't have any reviews on popular apps like Dianping or Xiaohongshu, but it was the most satisfying meal I've had in Vietnam so far – very similar to what you'd find back home, and reasonably priced too. The next day, I explored the Imperial City and tried salt coffee. All the local Vietnamese coffee is just too sweet for my taste. On my third day, when I was leaving, I realized I'd left behind a white top. I had planned to wear it on the sleeping bus, but completely forgot to pack it when I checked out."

"I stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is very good, and I can recommend it, but there are issues with the cleaning: 1) Broken vacuum cleaners that spread more dust than they pick up. 2) The cleaning staff bang vacuum cleaners against walls and glass. 3) Managers checking rooms after cleaning repeatedly slam doors, even though they can be closed silently. From inside the room, you can lower the door handle, and from the outside, you can tap your card. Alternatively, they could leave the door ajar if they're going in and out for checks. Take those old, broken vacuum cleaners away from the cleaning staff! I've seen negative reviews mentioning dusty rooms. That's because the cleaning staff are simultaneously vacuuming with broken machines and scattering dust from them all over the room and corridor. On the 20th floor, a vacuum cleaner had a broken lid latch. They've nailed it shut and secured the lid with an elastic band. When they lift the vacuum to move it, dust spills out because it's not in a bag, but just loose inside the vacuum. The vacuum cleaners themselves are also all dirty. After the cleaning staff saw me photographing the vacuum cleaner, a young man brought another, non-broken vacuum and thoroughly vacuumed in front of me, including the seams. Before that, the female cleaner was vacuuming poorly, as if she didn't know how to use a vacuum – when you move the vacuum wand, the brush should be parallel to the floor, not at an angle. However, both the female and male staff don't control the vacuum nozzle and hit it against walls and glass. I heard these loud banging noises every day for hours in the morning when the cleaning staff were cleaning on other floors above or below. And they start cleaning at 8-9 AM. Some guests might still be sleeping. Behind the nightstand between the bed and the bathroom in my room (2004), there were candy wrappers and a lot of dust. I had to move the nightstand myself and ask for it to be vacuumed. In principle, it could be vacuumed without moving it, just by removing the large attachment, but the nightstand itself was very dusty on the back because it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Meanwhile, the other nightstand wasn't as dusty. Other corners were dusty because the cleaners either don't vacuum or don't remove the large attachment, which makes it impossible to vacuum corners. I also found someone else's reading glasses with red and blue frames under the bed. The cleaning staff should thoroughly check the room to ensure guests haven't left anything behind. Surely the person was looking for their glasses. Overall, the room itself was very clean; the only issues with the cleaning staff were regarding vacuum usage and dusting in the corners."

"Since the hotel is newly opened, I wanted to leave a good review, but honestly, there are quite a few things that are good, and many that need improvement, especially considering the relatively high price point. **Pros:** Because it's new, the beds are clean, the room has everything essential, and plenty of power outlets. I liked having the sink outside the bathroom – it feels cleaner than inside. The staff were EXTREMELY friendly and always ready to help. There are free bicycles available for guests. The location's convenience depends on individual needs, but it's a bit far from the city center. Breakfast includes machine-brewed coffee, and the passion fruit juice was also good. **Cons:** Despite being new, some of the facilities already show signs of trouble: The bathroom door in my room couldn't be closed or locked. Perhaps because it was on the 5th floor, the water pressure was quite low. For the shower, I couldn't figure out how to operate it, as the entire shower head only had one rotatable knob, offering just two modes: regular stream and rain shower. The bathroom was quite small, even though the room itself felt spacious. The shampoo tray was mounted right where you stand to shower, so I kept bumping into it. The room had three mirrors, and from the bed, you could see directly into the bathroom. Since the bathroom door couldn't be locked, it would slide open on its own after a while... which would be very awkward if you weren't a couple. The light switches in the room were very disorganized. Out of four switches next to each other, the room lights were controlled by the two on the ends, and one of the two in the middle was for the bathroom, but I could never remember which one. I had to try all four every time, disturbing my partner – the technicians should really re-wire this. One power outlet by the bed on our side had no power. The wastebasket in the room had a lid that required you to touch it to open – I prefer a foot pedal. The air conditioning worked okay but didn't get very cold. I'm sensitive to cold, but I kept it at 22 degrees all night and didn't even need a blanket – for a new hotel, I think this is unacceptable. The Wi-Fi was VERY weak, and staff repeatedly told me to reconnect because each floor had its own mesh network, but everyone did this, and it didn't help. The problem was that the Wi-Fi signal only ever showed one bar, so how could it be strong? In the other room, my friend found footprints on top of the wardrobe (??). I tried to think it was just someone putting their feet up, but it was a bit creepy. The design of that other room seemed problematic too, as one friend accidentally kicked a table corner and bled. Even though the hotel was new when I visited, I have a feeling it will deteriorate quickly. When we arrived, everyone was excited to visit the pool, but we were disappointed and didn't even swim because it was too small, only suitable for children to play in. The pool also lacked an overflow filtration system, so cleanliness wasn't guaranteed. Furthermore, besides accommodation, the hotel didn't offer anything else for guests to use. There was no area to gather and chill – they should really develop the rooftop like some other hotels do."

"Our stay here in Hue was honestly fantastic, starting with the unbeatable location - you step outside and literally everything you need is right around the corner. The room itself was a major highlight. We absolutely loved the panoramic windows, and the blackout curtains were top-notch, letting us actually sleep in without the morning sun waking us up. The level of cleanliness was impeccable across the board. The bed and pillows were decent and comfortable enough, but I do have one practical suggestion for the management: they really need to switch to proper fitted sheets. Using flat bottom sheets that constantly pull up and bunch together during the night is just annoying and takes away from the otherwise premium feel of the room. The breakfast was a total win. The buffet is gorgeous, offering a massive and incredibly diverse spread of delicious options to kick off the day. The only real curveball was the check-in experience. Instead of a warm, welcoming vibe, the front desk staff immediately hit us with a rigid list of ”rules and don'ts” in a surprisingly abrasive and almost rude tone. It definitely lacked that essential hospitality touch. Management really needs to coach their team on their delivery and customer service etiquette. But honestly, aside from that initial weird interaction, we had absolutely zero complaints. It’s a beautifully clean, well-located spot with a killer breakfast."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of the city and close to many local attractions. My room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view from the window. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. What truly stood out, however, was the staff. They were extremely welcoming, polite, and always ready to help with a smile. The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely come back!"

"I stayed at TTC Imperial Hotel in Hue for three nights and everything was absolutely perfect. I loved the building itself, the beautiful rooftop terrace, and the room — spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. The gym was excellent, the service was truly professional, and the people working there were warm, kind, and attentive. Breakfast was great with a good variety and quality. Overall, a flawless stay — I would happily come back."

"Indochine Palace in Hue is a great choice if you’re looking for comfort and value. The price is very reasonable for what you get, making it feel like excellent value compared to similar hotels. One of the highlights is definitely the breakfast — there’s a wide variety of options, and the quality is impressive for the price range. It’s a great way to start the day. The service is also outstanding. The staff are attentive, polite, and always ready to help, which really enhances the overall experience. One small downside is the bedding. The mattress topper feels a bit low quality and doesn’t sit evenly, which can make the bed feel slightly uneven when sleeping. Overall, it’s still a well-rounded hotel offering good value, great breakfast, and excellent service — with just a minor area for improvement in the bedding."

"The hotel is located a little out of the Hue city centre so you will need your own transport or pay for taxis. There are a few shops and restaurants nearby but the choice is limited. The room is enormous and very comfortable, even if some furniture is looking a bit tired. The pool is great for relaxing after a day's sightseeing but gets very busy with local children around 4pm. On 2 of the 3 nights I stayed, there were very noisy parties in the restaurant between 5 and 7pm with karaoke and kids being encouraged to have screaming competitions. It was at least quiet in the evening."

"I had a great time staying at this hotel. I am certainly not rich, but the staff here here made me feel welcomed, appreciated and important. Nothing was too difficult for the staff, they went above and beyond to help or to give advice, even booking daily travel and limo bus to my next destination. I've never had a door opened or my bags carried before, I felt important. Need laundry done, they took care of that also. Need money exchanged....they took care of that too. Everyone was so friendly and very professional. Restaurant manager, what a great young man. Bar manager another great young man A big shout out to reception and Miss Phuong and Miss Nam.
