The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive staff, who made me feel at home immediately. The accommodation was spotless, elegant, and very comfortable. The room was beautifully designed with great attention to detail, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a long day of sightseeing. Everything was well-maintained, and the bed was extremely comfortable. What truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to assist with transportation arrangements, local recommendations, and every request I had — always with a smile and sincere kindness. Their helpfulness made my trip in Hue smooth, stress-free, and truly memorable. If you are looking for a hotel with excellent accommodation, outstanding service, and truly warm-hearted staff, I highly recommend Scarlett Boutique Hotel. I will definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Hue. I was surprised that breakfast could be chosen from a menu! The room was clean, and there were restaurants nearby, so I had absolutely no problems. The lady at the front desk was kind and understood a little Japanese. She even showed me a map of the area, and her charming smile was the best! Although I didn't go out for drinks, the bustling downtown area was less than a 10-minute walk away. I'd definitely want to stay here again when I come back to Hue. Oh, there was a window, but it faced a wall. However, given the location, I felt it was understandable.

This was my first time staying at a Banyan Tree property and my first trip to Vietnam, so I was excited yet a little nervous. The experience turned out to be unexpectedly amazing, truly exceeding all my expectations. While this hotel isn't brand new, all the furniture and bathroom fixtures are impeccably maintained. Compared to other brand hotels I've stayed at recently, like the Westin in Phuket or even the Dusit Thani in the Maldives, Banyan Tree's brand standards are consistently stable and thorough. They offer twice-daily housekeeping, daily small gifts, and snacks, and on the last day, a bubble bath and romantic setup for two – all delightful surprises. Since our villa was on top of the hill, the buggy service was always prompt. Every staff member offered genuine, smiling service, incredibly patient, and even with limited English, there was none of that typical 'customer service' fake smile you often see in the hospitality industry. The spa truly deserves a special mention; I tried both the Banyan Tree and Angsana sister hotels' spas. The techniques were professional, the therapists put in great effort, and it was excellent value for money. I visited the spa four times during my seven-night, eight-day stay and still wanted more. Words can't express how highly I recommend it. I'm actually a very picky person, and a germaphobe, and over the past two decades, I've stayed at various five-star island resorts across several continents. This time, I'm truly grateful because it was a last-minute decision – I only booked and paid in September. After the trip, my initial apprehension turned into gratitude and satisfaction. I must say, Banyan Tree has won me over. I hope to try their properties in China this year.

Good value for money. The location is convenient enough that you are not far away from attractions, restaurants and cafes. There are water dispensers on each floor that you can easily fill up your water bottles during the day. Staff are so friendly and kind, they always great you with smiles. The only thing we found a bit unpleasant is they seem to offer swimming trainings to non-hotel guests during the day every day? Whether we were there early in the morning or late at night, there were kids having swimming trainings with a coach.

This hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Hue, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The service was good; at check-in, they confirmed the meeting times for activities I had pre-booked. Although it's a bit far from the main tourist attractions, Grab is readily available, so it wasn't an issue. Even taxi drivers seemed to know of this hotel when I tried to flag one down. The room was a bit small, but it had most of what I needed, except for tissues.

The facilities overall were really good. The pool, in particular, was spacious and well-maintained, making it highly recommendable for families with children. At this hotel, swimming and resort activities are pretty much the main attractions. However, the sun is incredibly strong during the day, so if possible, it would be much more comfortable to book a room with a private pool rather than just relying on the communal one. The most significant drawback is the lack of a proper grocery store within the resort. It's highly recommended to buy snacks, instant noodles, drinks, etc., before checking in. If you're coming from Da Nang, the best option is to do your shopping at Lotte Mart beforehand. It's good to stock up generously on instant noodles, pre-cooked rice, snacks, and drinks, and the microwave in the room is convenient to use. If you can't prepare beforehand, you can take a taxi for about 15 minutes to reach WinMart in the Chân Mây area. When I used it, a one-way taxi fare was about 135,000 VND, and they sold Korean instant noodles and snacks. Grab was relatively easy to catch during the day, and there were also a few taxis waiting for guests near the hotel's main entrance. Some drivers spoke English, and if you contacted them via WhatsApp, they could pick you up directly later without needing Grab. While the stay itself offers decent value for money, I personally felt that the pricing strategy was to keep room rates reasonable and then generate profit from the restaurants and other facilities. Dining within the hotel was quite expensive, and restaurants often required reservations through reception rather than allowing immediate entry. When reservations were difficult or inconvenient, room service was the most practical alternative. A single menu item would typically cost around 15,000 to 25,000 Korean Won, which, considering local Vietnamese prices, isn't particularly good value. If you want to eat out, you can head to Chân Mây or go a bit further to the area around Thanh Tam Seaside Resort (Thanh Tâm Resort) for more restaurant and shop options. Instead of eating all your meals within the resort, it's better to mix in one or two external dining experiences during your stay. Guests predominantly included Westerners from countries like the US, Australia, France, and Japan, as well as Japanese visitors. While there were Koreans, they weren't in large numbers. I highly recommend trying the activities offered by the hotel. Compared to other facilities, they offered relatively good value for money. Many programs are held at the Banyan Tree side, so you'll need to take a buggy for about 5 minutes. Renting a bicycle and leisurely exploring the entire resort is also recommended. In particular, the fishing and net-throwing experiences were enjoyable. On the other hand, it's best to lower your expectations for snorkeling. If you're expecting clear waters and abundant fish like in Bohol, you might be disappointed. Based on my experience, I wouldn't particularly recommend it for underwater visibility and fish observation. In conclusion, this resort is well-suited for those who want to truly rest their tired bodies and minds, swim, eat, sleep, and cycle aimlessly for a few days, rather than for a trip focused on extensive sightseeing. Conversely, if city tours, shopping, massages, and exploring local eateries are important to you, the location could be quite inconvenient, making it difficult to recommend. For families looking to quietly focus on swimming and relaxation with children, this place would likely provide high satisfaction.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It offers excellent value for money, especially considering the quality and location. We booked a Deluxe Room, which was spacious, comfortable, and gave us plenty of room to relax. The bed was comfortable, and everything we needed was provided for a pleasant stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and if I have the opportunity to visit Huế again, I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price!

Had a great stay at this hotel with a river view and very attentive staff. However, the hotel is undergoing renovations in some rooms, including one just a room away from ours, which led to very significant noise disturbances (it was unbearable to stay in the room at that time). I find it regrettable that the room we booked three months in advance was assigned to this location (near the renovated rooms). Otherwise, the location, room size, and river view make me recommend this hotel.

We stayed just one night in Hue. The hotel was fantastic, with a really nice swimming pool. Very clean and tidy rooms and excellent breakfast. I really recommend the hotel. Also they have nice restaurant just next to the hotel if you are looking for good Vietnamese food. Extra point: I forgot some stuff in the hotel and they managed to send it to me from Hue to Da Nang in less than 24h. This is not related to the hotel accommodations, but I really appreciate what they did.
