"First time to visit a resort and beach in Batangas, and I must say that Altamare exceeded my expectations. I love the activities you can do, though it is limited, but still worth it. The vibe of being so peaceful and calm, since it is away from the noise, is the best thing of this resort. The services and foods are very good. You just need to be prepared of the stairs, it is very challenging! Overall it was really really good experience."

"Amazing location and environment but: parking lot was full ( way too small) and we had to park far away and go by shuttle to the lobby. Also the breakfast area in the hotel is too small, we needed to walk to the next building.  convenience store or supermarket nearby. The drain in the shower is too small and water raises and runs into the bathroom. The room is large but the furnituring is incomplete ( no second bed cabinet, no hanger, no rack for the luggage ). The staff was constantly stressed and overwhelmed by the high number of guests at the weekend. Nevertheless the stay was fine as the garden and the food was great."

"We had a great stay at Canyon Cove Hotel & Spa. The place is clean, relaxing, and perfect for a quick getaway with family and friends. What I liked most is that it’s already a one stop hotel since everything you need is inside. They have a restaurant for meals, stalls for snacks and meryenda, and even a bar where you can chill and unwind at night. Most importantly for us during our stay, the hotel is wheelchair friendly, which made everything more comfortable and convenient for our family. That really made a huge difference and added to our overall positive experience. Definitely a nice place to stay if you want to relax and enjoy without needing to go outside the resort often."

"It really is sweeter the second time around! I’m back at Sotogrande and once again, they did not disappoint. We had a sudden change of plans and needed a room around 4:00 PM to attend a local event. I was impressed that they could accommodate a same-day booking so smoothly. Sir Kim handled our check-in and was a lifesaver—he got us processed quickly because we were in a rush, and the security and their good personnel team was very hands-on helping us with our things. After the event, returning to the hotel at 9:00 PM was the highlight of my day. The room was incredibly comfy. Even though we were too tired for the pool and malapit na ata mag-close that time the hot shower and bathtub were pure luxury. My companion, who is very familiar with the high-end hotels in BGC, was genuinely impressed that the service and amenities here could easily compete with Manila’s best. The next day, you cannot miss the breakfast buffet! The quality is top-tier. The chicken sotanghon and beef tapa were delicious, but the adobo was the absolute winner for me. 🤤 Around 11:40 am, we went to the Upper Ground for a check out. What makes this hotel special is the people. Ms. Cess recognized me immediately even with my mask and cap on! She assisted with our check-out today (and, along with Sir Josh,) was the reason my first stay here was so memorable. Thank you, Sotogrande, for the ”top class” hospitality. I’m already planning to bring my parents and friends next time to show them why this is the best spot in Batangas!"

"We had an incredible stay! It’s rare to find a resort that offers so much in one location. Waking up to the stunning view of Taal Volcano was a highlight, but having a beautiful church right inside the resort made the atmosphere feel so peaceful and unique. We stayed active with the biking trails in the morning and hit the lake for water activities in the afternoon. Perfect for families or anyone looking for a mix of adventure and relaxation."

"Three friends and I stayed here during a trip to the Philippines. From Manila Airport, we first traveled to the bus terminal in Manila city, then took a two-hour bus ride from Manila to Batangas, and then a one-hour taxi ride from there. If possible, I think it would be easier to charter a car from Manila. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had a great time relaxing by the pool and trying our hand at diving. There's nothing around the hotel, so we had to eat at the hotel restaurant, but the food was of very high quality and delicious. They also had a few Japanese dishes, such as tonkatsu, which was nice. Overall, the prices were high for a resort hotel, but it was a great experience worth the price."

"We booked the cabana king. The room is clean, cozy, and well-maintained, giving you that balance of comfort and boutique charm. I also loved how peaceful the surroundings are—it’s the kind of place where you can truly unwind and disconnect from the city. Foods are all delicious!! 😋 Plus, IG-worthy spots 📸 Staffs are all smiling and they will greet you everytime you meet them. ☺️"

"I really like Pontefino, however, the lack of an elevator is a drawback. The rooms are large and the space is amazing. We did not make it to breakfast as we had plans and the second day the stairs/walk was a little much. Our place had ants, which was bad, but we were able to get through it as they did not attack our food or snacks. The room was large and ad a very nice balcony. I would stay here again, although I would wait for special rates as I feel we overpaid. Serv ice was good and I really feel for the employees who had to trek our luggage up and down those steps. Overall good stay with a few minor drawbacks. We had lunch at the restaurant, Pastorelli, I think it is called and it was very delicious."

"Place is in the city near in all places, school, hospital, malls. Mode of transport easy to access its only in the front of the hotel. Staff is accommodating."
