Guest UserIt's near Mt Fuji station to access train & intercity bus, within walk range. I book twin room with mountain view, all good, very clean, tidy, comfortable, & quiet (very good to catch deep sleep after your busy day traveling). Bathroom, washtafel, kitchen are shared in very good condition & comes in complete amenities & tools! They provide free coffee, tea, homemade bread, block ice, & all seasoning for cooking. Very nice!
*I forgot to capture bed & bathroom in empty condition, lol

My stay here was truly memorable. The room was traditionally Japanese and very comfortable.
The host was always kind, helpful, and quick to respond whenever I needed anything.
Bicycles were freely available for guests, which made it easy and enjoyable to explore the area, I was able to cycle around the lake in just a few hours, and the views were absolutely stunning.
If you’re feeling motivated, I highly recommend waking up before sunrise and biking about 20 minutes to the Chureito Pagoda. Watching the sun rise behind Mount Fuji from there is a breathtaking and unforgettable experience.
This stay will remain one of the most touching and special memories of my time in Japan.

Anonymous UserAbsolutely stunning views of Mount Fuji! The parking was super convenient, and the layout of the 3-bedroom villa was just perfect. The kitchen and living room were also very spacious and comfortable. Next time I come to Fuji, I'm definitely staying here again.

We spent our anniversary with my girlfriend in Kaneyamaen, and our experience was above and beyond. Starting with the shuttle option provided by the hotel from Mishima station, which also took us to Oshino hakkai, what a gorgeous place, before ending up at the hotel. We were really satisfied of our driver who shared facts about Yamanashi prefecture and Fuji.
Our check-in process was also a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we felt the hospitality of the hotel service crew. They escorted us to our room and helped with our luggage. Staying at a Sanri-Comfort Western Room, we had access to 2 lounges, where in one of them we had access to many kind of amazing wine from Yamanashi, among other tasty snacks. We choose our yukata and headed for matcha tasting. This is located in another part of the building which also gives us a peak at the wonderful garden. The matcha and snack we received helped us settle in with the calm garden view. Then came dinner. My god, the dinner was above and beyond. Neither of us had an 8 course dinner before with such a perfect service and absolutely amazing food. Hats of to the restaurant and service crew. Truly impressed.
We decided to walk of the calories in the hotels beautiful garden at night. The illumination creates a really romantic experience.
After this, we attended the Taiko drum show, which is organized by the hotel crew. First time for me and I can say it definitely made our experience even more special. Fantastic work.
Then the star of the show. The open-air bath on the balcony. The sight of Mt. Fuji early morning from the bath, was a magical experience which we'll never forget.
The buffet breakfast provides a great selection of food and drinks, rest assured we left very pleased.
All in all, this was an extraordinary stay for us. Nothing but max points. Wish we'll have the chance to visit again.

Guest UserBeautiful Ryokan with private onsen overlooking Fuji-San.
Love the impeccable service and the amenities we can use.
A walk in the garden is certainly recommended and look for the Fuji-San Vantage Point

We stayed as a group of 5 people. The house was very neat, clean, and comfortable. It has all the necessary dishes and appliances (with the exception of a clothes dryer, perhaps, but there's a laundromat a 2-minute walk away). If you're staying for 1-3 nights with a large group, I definitely recommend it. But for a longer stay, say a week, it might be better to look for a better option.
Downsides:
- A railway line is located 5 meters from the house (it didn't bother us much, as we're used to train noise, but the trains were very audible).
- Poor sound insulation inside the house.
- No reception or anyone to contact for a quick response.
- No designated smoking area.
- No drinking water in the room.
- Very small TV (considering the room is for 6 people, it's impossible for everyone to watch a movie together). TVs in other hotels in Japan are considerably larger (a subjective drawback).
- Very thin futons (again, we traveled a lot around Japan, and this was the first time we saw such thin futons).
- Only 1 toilet for 3 bedrooms (a subjective drawback).
- Strange layout of the kitchen and living areas – on the second floor (a subjective drawback).
- HORRENDOUS check-in system. Overall, it's understandable, but their passport recognition system via photo might not work immediately, might not work on certain phones, or might not open at all. After photographing your passport, you'll have to painfully manually enter some data on a large tablet, with a keyboard smaller than a phone's. And then you'll still have to make a video call to confirm the stay of all guests previously listed by passport data. The tablet connection with the operator is terrible. Very bad, Rakuten, this is the best anti-advertisement for internet and communication I've ever seen.

The property is just within walking distance to fuji station so it’s convenient. If you are driving, eneos petrol station is just beside it too.
Most important is you can wake up to glorious mount fuji every morning if you stay here! However the outdoor toilet is a bit inconvenient because on cold weather, im freezing when going to toilet at night.

In the hotel's R1 room, you can even see Mount Fuji directly while lying down🥰The Japanese boss has a very good attitude towards Chinese people, and there is no problem communicating in English. The room is quite big for two people. There is a 711 and the very famous Inari Shrine within a five-minute walk, 100%💯💯💯

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.

A fun glamping experience. I really think the cabins could benefit from management staying in them overnight from time to time - things like no hooks to hang things, dark and smoky vestibules outside the cabins, pots that don't work on induction heat etc. could be resolved.
But overall a well-managed place in a nice location.
