"The administrator was very nice. He immediately changed our room as soon as he found out that the main lighting in our room wasn't working. Instead of a room with an unappealing view, he gave us one overlooking a beautiful church. We were pleased. The hot water was indeed hot. However, there was no hairdryer, and water dripped from the pipe under the sink, so we had to place a trash can underneath it.
The room was quite spacious. There were enough power outlets, and while there wasn't a traditional wardrobe, there were plenty of hangers. The towels and bed linen smelled pleasant, and the bed was comfortable.
Attractions were a leisurely 15-minute walk away.
We only stayed for one night, but overall, I could easily have stayed there for several days. Of course, that's not possible in every hotel."

This morning, a strange man entered our room, as if by mistake; we don't know how he opened the door!
There are no glasses, kettle, slippers, or napkins in the room.
I had a cold and needed hot water for my medication. One staff member was fine; he told me to fill it up from the coffee machine. Then, another night, another staff member rushed up to me and said that water wasn't allowed and that it was only for breakfast.
The breakfasts were okay, typical for a small hotel."

"The hotel is located quite far, on higher ground. It's about a 20-minute walk to the Rouen Museum of Fine Arts, which is a bit far, and the walk back was uphill and left me breathless!
The hotel facilities are relatively new, the rooms are large, and the beds are very comfortable. However, the room I was given was on the back side of the hill, so the view of the city wasn't great. A room facing the city would have been much better!
The breakfast was excellent, very well prepared. The tea bags were from Kusmi and tasted great. The coffee was also delicious, and there were salmon, ham, cheese, etc., all very elegant!"

A huge selection! It was clean, and there was a large sitting area in the lobby. Soundproofing was also included."

"The location is indeed excellent, right next to the cathedral.
Other aspects are average. Some rooms on the third floor are on a mezzanine level, requiring an elevator ride to the third floor followed by a flight of stairs, which is a bit intimidating. I wouldn't recommend it for a solo female traveler. Also, the room is very hot; even with the air conditioning on full blast, it's not cool.
There's a small refrigerator. The toilet in the bathroom is wall-mounted, and I'm always worried it might collapse.
Breakfast is okay, a standard Mercure breakfast."

"This hotel is owned by the Best Western chain but has good personality - focused on the literary author Gustave Flaubert (who was born in Rouen).
Rooms are compact but clean - big windows and blackout curtains - comfortable.
Breakfast is an additional 19.00 € per person - pricey.
The biggest plus is the location - in the centre of the old town, right next to the Jeanne D'arc memorial church and within 5-10 mins walk of most key sights.
Staff were friendly, spoke great English (in case your French isn't good) and checking in was easy."

Bathroom was spacious enough & good hot water pressure. The staff were kind & helpful.
We hired a car & there was no problem in parking on street or in the hotel car park.
The breakfast was DELICIOUS as well!
Close to shops, Cathedral / Churches and lots of yummy restaurants all around.
We would absolutely stay here again & recommend to family & friends to stay here too!"

The Novotel Suite is equipped with a microwave and drinking water dispenser, which is very convenient. Depending on the room type, slippers and other amenities are provided. The room's design details are quite nice; there are enough electrical outlets. The bathroom and toilet are in two separate rooms, but they feel like small, prefabricated plastic units, which is quite interesting.

Guest UserThe hotel is nicely located, few steps away from the main attractions, hotel has its own parking which is convenient, however the number of places is limited. There are water refill stations on every floor, which is very handy. The breakfast has good variety of products. The swimming pool is on a smaller side and the water is quite cold to our preferences, so it’s mainly for “soaking in cold water” rather then swimming:) the family room for 4 is spacious, beds are comfortable, window sound proofing is not the best.

We only stayed 1 night at Hotel Paulette as we were driving through Rouen as a part of our road trip. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is walking distance from the Notre Dame Rouen Cathedral, Le Gros Horloge and the site where Joan of Arc was burned. The hotel room was clean and had the necessary amenities such as free wifi, toiletries, hair dryer. While there is no cupboard, there is a suitcase stand where there are hangers you can hand up your coat and clothes. Just note that the bathroom is small. It did not bother us since it is a standard for most European hotels.

I forgot to put slippers in the room. When I checked in, I didn't tell the drink in the room that I could enjoy it for free and didn't tell the reception phone number! Fortunately, we stayed for 2 days. We can ask the staff to retrieve the slippers and inquire about the above questions on the second day. The staff service is polite and commendable. 👍🏻

A very comfortable hotel with decent contents and not far from the city center.
Overall helpful & customer oriented staff.
I would especially like to note the buffet breakfasts, which are very varied, quite unexpected for France. Unfortunately, due to the lack of efficiency of the staff in this part, there were interruptions in both the replenishment of food on the table and with dishes/cutlery

The main and undisputed advantage of the hotel is its location, literally two steps from the Ruan Cathedral, while still quite close to the bus stop (FlixBus and BlablacarBus)
Hotel is small, no elevator (for someone it is an important moment).
Maximum welcoming staff.
The room has a mini-freezer, a smooth board (the tug can be taken on the floor, there is a teapot). Bedding and towels are cleanest.
From the downsides - very high hearing from the corridor, there is no air conditioner (but in the days of my stay he did not need), in the nearby yard bar, the visitors of which, unfortunately, are heard quite late.
And in general for its price an excellent option for several nights.

Good stay Apt 201 - One-week stay with a family of 4. To improve the apartment, I advise the establishment to clean the window frames and sills, add a cotton bath mat and a kitchen cloth, clean the headboard, check the shower gel refill (it was empty on arrival), add an extra bin bag and toilet paper roll, a few large plates or a glass cutting board and a large knife for cutting vegetables, add a salad spinner, and repaint in some areas.

Walking distance from all attractions within city center. We visited several spots in town and returned to the hotel for a short break. The hotel has no lift! We had to carry our luggages to 3rd floor. Room is compact as expected however the bed is comfortable. Shower and toilet are small. Front staff was helpful as he tried to explain us about the hotel and surrounding in English. He was also kind enough to keep our luggages during our short trip to Mont St Michel.
