"I felt very safe and the place was clean and tidy. All the rooms were fully equipped, and even had a balcony! The king-sized bed was super comfy and the air conditioning system worked perfectly. The USB charging ports were really convenient. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. The surrounding area is also great, with a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. It's also within walking distance to the city center and the Old Port."

"Location is good, close to metro, have restaurants and supermarket nearby. Room is clean and spacious, and there is kitchen facilities that you can prepare meals. Staff are helpful. The downside is, the bed (mattress) is hollow (curved) not comfortable; and our room seems to have some odors (like sewage) from time to time."

"The hotel is very well located, especially for the Vélodrome stadium. It's very clean, and the check-in service was great on the day we arrived. The young men working there were really kind. We enjoyed our stay at the Vélodrome with our two daughters. However, on April 27th, we encountered a woman at the reception who handled the hotel payment poorly, causing us to be charged twice. Even though I clearly explained that I had already paid, I was unfortunately debited a second time. I had to call back to request a refund. After that, everything went smoothly, and we received our refund two days later. 🤩"

"Coming out of the train station, head towards Marseille's Arc de Triomphe. You'll know you're there when you see the Arc de Triomphe Hotel; the entrance is on the right and the hotel itself is on the left. If you have luggage, use the side entrance as the main entrance has steps. The rooms aren't cleaned daily, and extra towels come with an additional charge. It gets incredibly hot in the room, even though it doesn't get much direct sunlight. If the price difference isn't significant, I'd recommend booking a room with a balcony. Those rooms face outwards and offer a view of the Arc de Triomphe. There was a bit of a mix-up with my Ctrip reservation. The younger guy at the front desk couldn't find my booking, but the more experienced staff member was really helpful and sorted it out even before Ctrip could. The French lady at the front desk during check-out was excellent, very proactive, and even said goodbye in Chinese!"

"Excellent! The hotel is housed in a grand old building that has been meticulously renovated. The front desk and parking attendants provided great service. When I was having a beer at the restaurant, I asked a staff member about Bouillabaisse, and a short while later, they brought me a note with three nearby restaurant recommendations. As soon as you drive up to the lobby, staff members are there to take care of parking and other services. The location is fantastic, directly facing the Old Port and just across the square."

"Location was great in terms of access to public transport, train station and it was central, but the area wasn't very safe, although we didn't have any incidents. Everything was very clean and staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast could be improved - there were no vegetables available, and it would be nicer if fruit was cut into slices. When arriving for breakfast within the last 30min or so, there may be no more eggs or yoghurt available anymore, leaving just the pastry, cheese and cereal. Otherwise everything was excellent and the AC unit in the room was working very well"

"The room comes with kitchenware, but there's a 250 Euro deposit collected at check-in, which is refunded by 9 PM on the day of check-out. It's advisable to keep an eye on it, though I haven't encountered any issues personally. The hotel's location is a bit out of the way; you can take bus 83 directly to the Old Port, which is about 10+ stops. The area is quiet, so it's good for sleeping at night. If you don't mind the location too much, it's worth considering."

"A cozy small hotel. There are relatively few employees, and sometimes they can't keep up with the service and hygiene of public areas. There are few types of breakfast. But it has a local environment and landscape."

"Cleaning ladies were demonstrating 53 days in front of the hotel when I arrived. The rotating door was covered with mud and confetti, while the black women danced to loud African beats. A complete shock! They continued during my stay… The front desk was super helpful after I contacted their manager. My flight was delayed and I arrived a day late so they managed to modify my reservation without extra payment. My card didn’t work so I gave a cash deposit and they sent me an email when my suitcase that had been delayed arrived (so as not to wake me up). The housekeeping was average- twice they didn’t restock the water. Once they forgot a cleaning chemical. Another time they didn’t restock the decaffeinated capsules. Also they could have been more generous with the toilet paper. It’s the very thin recycled one, that goes fast. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant spacious, with a garden overlooking the marina. The room was large, modern and quiet, with an amazing view of the harbor, including both sunsets and sunrises! I even saw the incredible half an hour long fireworks for Bastille day right under my window! The bed is big and comfortable, pillows a bit too soft, lighting is good but there are no toiletries (which was initially problematic due to the lost luggage). Room service wasn’t available the only night that I wanted to order it - due to Bastille day celebrations. The QR code don’t work on my phone so I had to call the reception to order. Also there was no alcoholic drinks listed, plus I had no fridge in the room, so I couldn’t fully relax and enjoy my holiday. The hotel doesn’t have a spa, which is a shame. So I made a reservation online and got a massage in the Hammam spa a few minutes from the hotel)very expensive and not great). The closest one to the hotel was closed. The pool is gorgeous but in another building which requires another elevator to be taken at the ground floor. A bit of a hassle…The gym is basic but good. Gets pretty busy and dirty at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants nearby and even a small Proxi shop. There is a bus stop 1min away, that goes to the Terrace du Port. And the taxi conveniently dropped me off right in front of the hotel. The Mucem and Cosquer caves visible from the hotel, are a bit pleasant 25min walk away and the well worth the visit. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, and would come again if the above issues were resolved."
