First, the positives: The breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee was great, which is a rare find at this price point. The room had a kettle, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Old Port. The lobby offered free coffee and croissants. I was really worried about service staff in France only speaking French, but everyone at this hotel spoke excellent English. Now for the issues I encountered: Initially, I was given a room on the fourth floor. When I pulled back the covers, I found a significant amount of hair on the pillows, which seemed to be a mix of human and animal hair (this hotel is pet-friendly). Lifting the duvet revealed even more hair, making it seem like the cleaning staff hadn't changed the bedding at all. The front desk immediately offered me another room on the same floor. After moving my luggage, I still found a small amount of hair when I pulled back the covers in the new room. I then asked the front desk for a fresh set of sheets and duvet covers. They offered to move me again, this time to a room on the 6th floor. This room was much better, but the pillowcases had yellow stains on all four corners. I requested new pillowcases from the front desk and changed them myself. One minor concern: The hotel isn't on the main street and is a bit close to the train station, which made me slightly uneasy walking around at night.

The hotel's location is decent, quite close to the Old Port, and it's a downhill walk from the train station. The room is quite spacious, easily fitting two 28-inch suitcases. The bathroom and toilet are separated (wet and dry areas). The hotel breakfast is average with not many choices, but it covers the basics. The Indian restaurant across from the hotel is pretty good.

Even though it's an older hotel, the service is exceptionally good. The beds are very clean, and the location is excellent, making it easy to visit attractions. Plus, they offer free and unlimited luggage storage.

A wonderful hotel, just a 15-minute walk from the old port. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and responsive—every single employee was smiling and attentive. This is so important in hotels of any caliber! The room was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was not included. In the lobby, there's an area where you can grab water or make coffee 24/7. Nice little touches. I'd happily return to this hotel.

Very close to the beach, easily walkable which is super convenient. There are also some attractions nearby. The hotel staff are excellent, and the breakfast is absolutely amazing! Highly, highly recommend! Thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up!

I really liked this hotel. It felt very comfortable. It was also clean, and the staff were polite. There's 24/7 access to coffee and a microwave in the lobby, which was very important for us. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Marseille.

The room's location is excellent, right outside you'll find very convenient public transportation. The restaurant is also spacious, and the hygiene is pretty good. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Marseille. Very satisfied.
