We totally enjoyed our stay in Cloitre des Augustins in Avignon! We had 2 rooms and stayed for 6 nights with family. Rooms are clean, spacious and stylishly furnished. Air conditioning is perfect and with all utensils for making meals. The location is wonderful with lots of cafes, supermarkets and shops nearby. Also walkable to all major attractions such as the Pont d’Avignon (the broken bridge) and Palais de Papes. About 15 minutes walk to Avignon Centre train station which is a bonus if you plan to travel to nearby towns like Arles or Nimes by train. Convenient location and nice rooms. Besides, the host Patrick and his wife are helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended

The hotel is in a good location, a few steps into the old city, opposite a high school school. Go to the palace, the broken bridge, and the free ferry can be walked. The manager was very warm and thoughtful, helped to park, explained the place to eat, drink and play around, and felt very warm. The biggest highlight of the house is the overall kitchen, where you can cook by yourself. The most satisfying hotel on this trip.

There is no living supermarket within walking distance. Fortunately, we purchased food from the last hotel and brought it with ice bags. The induction cooker is not enough, half fried and half stewed, and it can be considered to be able to eat. There is no serious kitchen knife and silicone shovel. The two men ran to the first floor for a meal, and finally gathered together the kitchen utensils and played pure water. The tap water can't be drunk when it boils, it's all water alkali The advantage is that parking is free and there are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel is in excellent location, right next to the train station and it takes only a few minute walk to the downtime . The room is a bit small and basic but it can serve all you need in traveling. Perhaps the only problem is that it doesn’t provide kettles and so you need to obtain hot water at the hotel lobby, if you like to make a cup of tea for yourself. The facility is a bit old and the door lock is broken. Other than that, overall the facilities are in order.

HotelF1 Avignon Centre Courtine gare TGV offers basic, budget-friendly accommodation near the TGV station. Rooms are simple and clean, with shared or private bathrooms. It’s ideal for short stays or transit stops, with free Wi-Fi and parking. Good value for money, but limited amenities.

The location is quiet and it is very convenient to visit the ancient city. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the owner enthusiastically took out a map to explain in detail what attractions and how to route. But overall it is more like a homestay. Every day, there is a afternoon at 4-7 to check in, and you must check out at 11 noon. Our room was arranged in the attic, which is the third floor. We needed to carry our luggage up the narrow stairs. The sewer in the room smelled, and there was no ventilation system. It felt a bit stinky when sleeping, and the clothes could not be dried at all. At first, I saw the sign in the bathroom saying that the hot water should not be turned on for more than 4 minutes. I still felt strange. Later, I saw the electric water heater in the public toilet on the first floor. I understood that it may be because more than a dozen rooms share a water heater and limited hot water. Overall, the price/performance ratio is OK.

Stayed here with the kids! The room was huge! Two king beds, a great hotel! Clean and tidy, and it has a swimming pool!

The sheets were only clean cuz they outsourced the cleaning to another company who does the job well. For this price, you need to put your own sheets and set up your own bed, AND still have to send it downstairs (didn’t seem mandatory but encouraged). My ceiling walls were peeling, my bunk bed frame made of cold metal, and the tap was hard to control — water kept flowing out even if we pressed the knob lightly. I slept well on the first night but on the second, homeless people were screaming and harassing a girl, woke my roommates up and we weren’t sure if we should call the police. You’re better off another hostel. Breakfast variety was ok.

Hotel is OK for one night stay. The room is a little small. There is a small swimming pool. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel connecting to the city of Avignon. The price is a bit high, but this is the Avignon Festival time so I can understand.

We used this hotel as a stopover on our way to the south. It generally met our expectations - clean, basic, and a bit worn out. For a solo traveler/ woman may be a bit scary because the location is isolated. Automatic check-in may be tricky (made it from the 3 attempt).
