"Hotel was nice and clean. It seemed to be renovated, compared to some other Mercure hotels which always seemed a bit older. Rooms were quite compact, it was OK for one night. They have a nice restaurant though with terasse with nice lunch deals and a swimming pool for those who are here for holidays. Not best location though if you want to visit the city center but with a car it's fine. They have also a big space for parking car for free"

"Hotel location is particularly good, just next to the Pope's Palace, opposite the Opera House and City Hall; there are many restaurants downstairs, and there is a direct road in front of the hotel to the train station for more than 10 minutes. The layout of the room is reasonable, according to the hotel requirements, if you want to clean the room, you need to tell the front desk before 11 o'clock. I forgot to say that I went back to the room at night and found that it was cleaned. It was a surprise! When checking out the luggage, I was repeatedly confirmed whether it was a Vietnamese. I knew that it was from China. Very good!
The reception desk is a bit small and there are too many people to wait in line."

"It's not bad, the room is big, but the elevator is small and old, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, it's my first time staying in this kind of hotel, a monastery with hundreds of years of history, the breakfast is okay, French hotels are basically like this, unlike domestic hotels with a variety of options. In addition, when booking the room, it didn't say it was a top floor attic. After checking in, we found it was a attic with a small window and a skylight. The room was a bit stuffy when the sun came out. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. When we asked to change rooms, the front desk said they were full. Fortunately, it rained later and it was cloudy the next day. Fortunately, the weather was not hot, with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees."

"The hotel is near the high-speed rail station, but I was a little scared when I checked in. I arrived late (the hotel was at night) and went in the wrong direction. I followed the Google navigation and walked a dark road. It was scary. When I got to the hotel, there was no one at the front desk and I couldn't get in. I needed to enter a password. I had no idea. Later, a French guy came (who didn't speak English) and helped me make a phone call through translation to get the key to the safe. It turned out that the password to the safe was emailed to the guests in advance, but for some reason they didn't receive it. Ctrip's service really didn't keep up this time. There was no reminder and I couldn't find customer service. I was about to collapse at that time."

"The whole is very clean, the explanation is very clear, there is no one at the reception on the weekend, but the key is obtained smoothly according to the steps. very convenient.
There is a big supermarket nearby, within 10 minutes walk, things are cheap and can meet the needs.
10 minutes walk to the city wall and 25 minutes to the train station. If you don't want to walk, you can take bus 4 (get on the bus to buy tickets). It is a good place to stay."

GGuest UserWe totally enjoyed our stay in Cloitre des Augustins in Avignon! We had 2 rooms and stayed for 6 nights with family. Rooms are clean, spacious and stylishly furnished. Air conditioning is perfect and with all utensils for making meals. The location is wonderful with lots of cafes, supermarkets and shops nearby. Also walkable to all major attractions such as the Pont d’Avignon (the broken bridge) and Palais de Papes. About 15 minutes walk to Avignon Centre train station which is a bonus if you plan to travel to nearby towns like Arles or Nimes by train. Convenient location and nice rooms. Besides, the host Patrick and his wife are helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, a few steps into the old city, opposite a high school school. Go to the palace, the broken bridge, and the free ferry can be walked. The manager was very warm and thoughtful, helped to park, explained the place to eat, drink and play around, and felt very warm. The biggest highlight of the house is the overall kitchen, where you can cook by yourself. The most satisfying hotel on this trip.

The store phone on Trip.com is French voice, just understand a sentence, please dial 5 for English messages. I called several times and no one answered. Fortunately, a car came out and followed it in. There was no one at the front desk. A guy in the public office received me and was very enthusiastic. I said that the phone could not get through, and I called in person. He said that it was fine to dial 1-4, no 5, and it collapsed. After completing the formalities, the guy enthusiastically helped me introduce the apartment environment, saying that it was not a hotel, there was no hotel service, and the first floor was pure water. I have to take me to the room to see... The anxious person remembered the same anxious person in the car outside, declined, hurriedly parked the car, returned to the room, solved the round, did not see the bed, was shocked, thought to sleep on the sofa. As a result, the cabinet door was opened, and there was a big bed inside. This design was really crashing. The first night was very quiet, the second night was attacked by mosquitoes, and I woke up in the middle of the night to fight mosquitoes, only to find mosquito bodies on the wall. I was bitten by 6 bags, and the other was bitten by countless. The bag on my finger was finally connected to a white line, looking scary.
Stayed for two nights and no cleaning service. There is no living supermarket within walking distance. Fortunately, we purchased food from the last hotel and brought it with ice bags. The induction cooker is not enough, half fried and half stewed, and it can be considered to be able to eat. There is no serious kitchen knife and silicone shovel. The two men ran to the first floor for a meal, and finally gathered together the kitchen utensils and played pure water. The tap water can't be drunk when it boils, it's all water alkali

Just across the street is the old town of Ai**on, where you can stroll across the bridge and take photos. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, the owner enthusiastically took out a map to explain in detail what attractions and how to route. But overall it is more like a homestay. Every day, there is a afternoon at 4-7 to check in, and you must check out at 11 noon. Our room was arranged in the attic, which is the third floor. We needed to carry our luggage up the narrow stairs. The sewer in the room smelled, and there was no ventilation system. It felt a bit stinky when sleeping, and the clothes could not be dried at all. At first, I saw the sign in the bathroom saying that the hot water should not be turned on for more than 4 minutes. I still felt strange. Later, I saw the electric water heater in the public toilet on the first floor. I understood that it may be because more than a dozen rooms share a water heater and limited hot water. Overall, the price/performance ratio is OK.

Service: The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom are very clean. You can see that they are cleaned regularly. Thumbs up! There is a simple breakfast in the morning, bread and hot coffee, which is simple to fill your stomach.

Hygiene: Very good, but there is no trash can in the room, which is inconvenient. I made a trash bag myself
Facilities: The elevator was broken, which was uncomfortable, but everything else was good. The only drawback is that the elevator was broken. I had to carry my 29-inch oversized luggage up two floors to get to my room. If you need an elevator, this is not recommended. Everything else is perfect!
