The guesthouse's location and environment are its biggest highlights. Our room's window faced Dongjiang Lake, and every morning, the sunlight streamed directly into the room, naturally waking us up. The feeling of waking up to lush greenery and the river was instantly relaxing. After a few days, I really adjusted to a healthy early-to-bed, early-to-rise routine. The guesthouse's terrace was our favorite. In the evenings, we did absolutely nothing but sit there, enjoying the breeze, listening to the insects chirping, and watching the sky gradually change until the moon rose. This kind of luxurious ”doing nothing” was easily achieved here. It was also incredibly convenient. It features tatami seating, a large, round bathtub, and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a courtyard enclosed by grass and reeds.
