"Close to Xiaodong River, you can walk to many restaurants, the location is good~ The B&B environment is beautiful and clean, with parking! The room you choose can directly see the river view, it's amazing! Automatic design, even the toilet is hot! The heating is sufficient but it won't dry it out! "The room was spacious, and the public areas were definitely worth the price. The photo op spot on the second floor was also a nice touch. We drove there, and parking was very convenient. When we used the bath, they proactively asked if we needed a bath liner, and they provided real, large towels (I'm so fed up with some B&Bs and hotels that only offer disposable ones). The complimentary breakfast was tasty, and if you weren't full, you could order another bowl of noodles for free. It was raining when we left, and the front desk staff specifically came out to offer me an umbrella. "The itinerary was basic, but the hotel was anything but. We stayed at a truly elegant hotel on the other side of the Xiaodong River. I pondered for a long time what words to describe it. It had a wabi-sabi feel, yet the details were human and warm. It had a traditional style, yet the rooms reflected a technological and modern aesthetic. Finally, I realized this might be the ”quality” we were looking for. It's said that the owner had previously worked as a teacher, then achieved financial independence by starting a tech company. In his 50s, he built a hotel, freed from worldly scrutiny and able to design and operate it to his own taste. In the evening, I sat in the lounge, enjoying a rich cocktail, listening to the graceful guzheng music, and observing the beautiful young women. All my emotional wrinkles were smoothed out, leaving behind a stable core. Not only the food and accommodation, but also the hotel's cultural experience programs were thoughtfully curated. The hotel also has its own dock with direct access to the Xiaodong River Visitor Center on the other side. Riding on a bamboo raft, the river breeze caressed my face, making me feel that life is beautiful and life is precious."

The moment I opened the door, I was completely stunned—the floor-to-ceiling window offered a full panoramic view of the river. The river was wide, and I could take in the lush greenery and walkways on both banks, even the distant bridge was clearly visible. I didn't even need to step outside; I could simply sit on the sofa by the window and enjoy the entire river view. The room also had a balcony. In the evening, I watched the sunset slowly dip into the river, painting the water in warm golden hues.
