Ximo Guesthouse

Clean, great environment, excellent service. They have a washer and dryer, and a drying rack in the room. Breakfast is also included.

This guesthouse is right across from Xiaodong River and Shoufo Temple on the opposite mountain. In the morning and evening, the clouds and mist swirl around, creating an ethereal, almost magical atmosphere. The decor is minimalist and serene, blending perfectly with nature. Every staff member at the front desk was incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations for food and attractions. The 'killing pig noodles' for breakfast were delicious! The Xiaodong River scenic area is just a 15-minute walk along the river from the guesthouse, and then it's directly across the road uphill from the dam. I recommend buying tickets online and using your ID to enter the park. If you're lucky, you won't need to rush early with the crowds. We enjoyed a leisurely walk after breakfast and only entered around 9 AM. We got off the bus at point 2 and walked to point 4, with mist swirling all along the way. There were hardly any people along the path at point 4, which was very pleasant. All in all, the guesthouse's location is superb; it's even lovely to just relax in the courtyard and do nothing.

This guesthouse is a real gem! I chose to stay here again on my trip to Chenzhou. Just follow the navigation, it's easy to find and there's plenty of parking. The best part is its proximity to Xiaodong River, which means I can sleep in a bit longer in the morning, then come back for breakfast and catch a second nap.

The room was clean and tidy, and the butler was super friendly. I especially loved the delicious 'killing pig noodles' for breakfast. The most important thing is the stunning river view room! We definitely made the right choice staying here for our trip to Xiaodongjiang.

Beautiful and very photogenic! The only downside was the broken projector. I hope they can improve on these small details. The staff were very responsive to requests, which was great. The environment is lovely, truly feeling like a vacation. You can order takeout, though some delivery fees are a bit high. There are also a few restaurants nearby, so you won't go hungry.

The 'sha zhu fen' (pig-killing noodles) for breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.
