But you can order in advance and have the restaurant cook for you; the food is just as good as what you'd find elsewhere. The No. 4 viewing area is only a few hundred meters away, and a short walk down the path you can see fishermen casting their nets. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

The night view of Xiaodongjiang River from the rooftop on the 11th floor is also very beautiful. It is about 3 kilometers away from the Dongjiang Lake Visitor Center. I checked out in the morning and parked my car in the visitor center parking lot, which cost 10 yuan. Originally, I booked a hotel near the visitor center. There was no breakfast and it was expensive. I canceled my reservation and rebooked this hotel. It included breakfast. Even if I paid the extra 10 yuan parking fee at the visitor center, it was still a good deal.

The owner had a whole bunch of new, large scooters parked outside, renting them the same at the B&B or the restaurant for 60 yuan a day. The owner immediately said he couldn't replace them. We asked why they had one parked outside, and he asked if we were eating at his restaurant. We said no, and he immediately said he couldn't. So, this was also a bundled purchase. If we didn't eat at his restaurant, we'd have to blame ourselves for this awful scooter. There were plenty of new, large scooters parked outside, so why didn't they replace it? It was their own fault. It was so poorly performing. While we were pushing it, our child fell on a hill, injuring his arms and legs.
