"Hotel was excellent, the staffs managed to arrange for me to check-in early despite check-in time to be usually at 2pm, I managed to put my bags down and rest and catch my day trip in Golmud, furthermore they also helped reschdule my breakfast and also informed me on the laundry services available. Overall, staying at Kaibang Hotel is the smoothest and most enjoyable experience"

"The discounted room had no window, but the bathroom had a small, high window without curtains, offering a view of the buildings outside (though quite far), which felt a bit uncomfortable. Also, the corner room was rather cold, although you could ask the front desk for a heater, but it wasn't very effective."

The front desk staff are warm and polite, the rooms are quiet, clean, and comfortable, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. There's a ”Ma You Yu” chain restaurant next door, serving naan-style grilled fish, making dining very convenient. Parking is also easy, making it driver-friendly. The only drawback is that the shower towels are a bit old; after multiple washes, they've become somewhat rough and stiff, making them uncomfortable to use."

"I booked this stay at Hotel because of its strong reviews, and it absolutely lived up to the reputation—arguably the best hotel in Golmud. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality stood out. Even as a solo foreign traveller, I felt genuinely welcomed and looked after. A complimentary fruit platter was provided, which was a thoughtful touch after a long journey. The housekeeping team was especially impressive—meticulous in their work and leaving heartfelt handwritten notes every day, which added a very personal warmth to the stay. Even small details were carefully considered. The laundry area had a coffee machine and other amenities, clearly designed to make waiting more comfortable. The hotel also offers free airport transfer, which made arrival and departure completely hassle-free. I would also like to give special mention to the receptionist, 王蒙蒙, who was exceptionally helpful. She went out of her way to assist me in contacting a driver, which made a big difference for me as a solo female traveller in a new place. Overall, my time in Golmud was made memorable because of this hotel. It didn’t feel like just a place to stay—it felt like being welcomed into a small, caring community."

The hotel's location is excellent and convenient for transportation. Furthermore, the lobby manager's service was very thoughtful. "I chose the Manhe Hotel during my business trip to Golmud, and the experience was fantastic! The receptionist was incredibly attentive and helpful; she even turned on the air conditioning in my room before I arrived – such a thoughtful detail! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the night market, where the lamb skewers were absolutely delicious! [heart eyes emoji] There's also parking, which is super convenient for those driving. The restaurant's breakfast selection was comprehensive and the food was great. I had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the food, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Golmud!"

"The hotel isn't located in the city center, but there are plenty of restaurants downstairs. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the facilities were new. There's a parking lot in the backyard with two fast charging stations; a young man was there to guide us through parking and charging, and even helped with our luggage. The receptionist was beautiful and kind. There's also a laundry room and a printer; I needed to print a form, and the receptionist helped me with that too. The rooms were well-soundproofed and quiet. They even provided complimentary yogurt."
