"To be honest, this was my first time staying at a Banyan Tree property, and I chose the one in Anji. I won't go on about the good points, but I do have a few areas I think could be improved. Firstly, the infinity pool being closed when it was over 30 degrees Celsius is questionable. Secondly, after swimming in the indoor pool, there were absolutely no towels available, not even a single one, and no bottled water either. Perhaps this was due to the off-season. Thirdly, during breakfast on the second day, my child found a hair in a pan-fried bun, which might have been due to it being freshly made. The dinner at both the Chinese and Thai restaurants was pretty good, and the butler was indeed very enthusiastic. The hotel environment was also quite good."

"This was our second hotel in Anji, and the setting was fantastic. I saw from the descriptions that it has won many awards. It's nestled deep in the mountains, so it's perfect if you're driving. Inside the hotel, you can get around on foot or use their shuttle service. We even saw a lot of corporate team-building groups there.
Our butler, LEO, proactively added us on WeChat to inform us about the hotel's activities. He was incredibly responsive, whether it was to get us extra water or arrange a car – always a prompt reply to everything. He handled everything perfectly and even helped us with an issue combining beds.
There were so many activities to choose from! We went to the mountaintop dojo, where you can see the entire hotel from above. We also tried the wupeng boat – you need a bit of strength to paddle it yourself! The infinity pool was a popular spot, with influencers even doing live streams there. The hot springs had a perfect temperature, and we saw many families with kids playing in the water. The kids' play area, though not huge, had enough ocean balls and slides to keep them entertained. We also did a travel photoshoot and even tried sound bowl therapy – since we were there, why not try everything! There are paid hiking tours and SPA services that we'll save for our next visit.
It's very family-friendly; they provided kids' slippers and toothbrushes during check-in. The air in the mountains is so fresh, and we ate and slept so well every day. We hope to come back again!"

It's unbelievably good; as someone who pays attention to every detail and demands quality, this place exceeded my expectations. All the details are perfectly handled, and the hotel feels new and luxurious. You won't get bored here – there's a huge farm with animals, fresh vegetables, and fruits, plus an on-site cafe and billiards. It's the perfect place to comfortably unwind for a day or two. GGuest UserThe room design was great, and both the elderly and children loved it. They even thoughtfully provided eye masks. The room had a smart smart control system and underfloor heating. Both the indoor and outdoor views were fantastic, especially the hot spring in the bamboo forest. The service was excellent; they responded immediately to every request, even late at night – thank you so much to the young man! Initially, the guesthouse had stopped providing underfloor heating for the first few days of our stay because it was getting warmer, but on the day we arrived, it got a bit cold, and my child liked to walk on the floor without slippers. The owner kindly turned the heating back on – thank you!
We had dinner at the guesthouse: chicken soup, braised bamboo shoots, and braised catfish. The auntie cooked it very well; my elders still rave about it afterward, haha. Breakfast was rather home-style, but the auntie's soft-boiled eggs were delicious, and the young man's hand-drip coffee was also very good.
One small suggestion: could the guesthouse consider allowing guests to choose between regular towels and disposable towels in the future? My child only made this suggestion about the towels, haha. Also, it would be even better if there was an absorbent mat in the bathroom.
Overall, it's good, pet-friendly, and I recommend it.

GGuest UserTravelers beware! The photos advertising Ke Gamer do not resemble to actual room and the food is horrible. I opted to upgrade to the private hot spring villa for close to 4000rmb a night expecting a high class experience but was instead highly disappointed!
We arrived on a Saturday and reserved a table at the restaurant, famished from traveling and expecting a wonderful meal. They did not mention that this was a set menu (only for the package that was included with the room) so there was no option to select my dishes nor to explain our gluten free diet. First bread came (couldn’t eat it, gluten) then a mushroom chicken soup that was difficult to swallow. Over salted and the chicken was rubbery. Then came there version of a kimchi that was ok. Shrimp next that was battered (gluten) and smothered in mayonnaise, and then an over salted spicy beef dish and inedible veggies dish.At this point we decided to leave and opted instead to pay for food delivery. When we shared this information with the assistant helping us he messaged me saying you are a foreigner would you prefer chicken wings or a steak. I’ve been living in China 10 years and never spoken to so rudely. My gf then wanted to have a soak in the hot spring and have a fire because the rain had stopped but she was told no they could not do this for us that night. That’s when I added the wechat and she deleted him so she would no longer have to talk to someone so rude. We did find it strange that even though I was now in communication with him he still attempted to friend my gf several times, very disrespectful!! After I explained how unsatisfactory the service was to that point he made more of an effort and we did get to enjoy a relaxing evening outside. The next day we stayed away from the restaurant not wanting to have that experience again so ordered delivery service again, decent food for delivery. We did attempt the on site restaurant one more time before checking out for breakfast and this was awful as well. Cold eggs, bacon and sausage. They did have a nice assortment of breads which we could not eat (gluten) so we had a yogurt container and coffee before leaving.
One part of the stay was an assistant driving us into town to a nice tea shop. He took us tot he location and offered to help us select a shop. He was very friendly and helpful inside the shop to explain the differences in teas and get us a good deal. We ended up purchasing 2 boxes of tea to take home.
Overall I did not enjoy the stay at this overpriced and falsely advertised hotel. This is certainly one case when we did not get what we paid for. Wishing you better luck than we had.

GGuest UserThe three-day and two-night trip was contacted by the handsome butler Xiao Yin on WeChat one day in advance to recommend nearby restaurants and places to visit. We set off early the next day. The May Day hotel room was full and had not been cleaned yet. We could get the room card after dinner. The butler service was really nice. He helped with the luggage and parked the car. The shuttle bus personally sent us to the room. Along the way, he briefly introduced the location of the park and the location of the hot spring. The car was parked very close to the room. The fruit and drinks in the small refrigerator in the room were unlimited and free. He also gave my daughter a park doll. My daughter said she liked rafting, and Xiao Yin also gave her a rafting ticket~ In short, the service was very attentive.
Next to the hotel is the Jialebi Amusement Park. When checking in, you need to scan your face. When entering and exiting the amusement park, you need to scan your face. There is a special passage for hotel guests. There are many amusement facilities inside, and there are many exciting projects, such as the big pendulum, pirate ship, roller coaster, and bungee jumping. I have to mention that my father was not feeling well on the first day. At 8 or 9 o'clock in the evening, the housekeeper Xiao Yin accompanied us to the hospital after work. It was really considerate. I brought my parents and daughter to stay. The old one was not feeling well, and the young one had to be dragged to the hospital together. After comparing many options online, we finally settled on the ”Fulan” room type at this guesthouse, which appears to be on the highest floor. The moment the door opened, my husband and I were overjoyed, praising the room's beauty: lush green bamboo groves and three large floor-to-ceiling windows! It was simply the perfect escape from the city for relaxation!
The receptionists were incredibly nice. They created a service group before our check-in to help with our luggage and direct parking – so thoughtful and attentive! A big thumbs up! The only downside was the lack of an elevator; it felt a little awkward asking them to carry things up the stairs whenever we wanted something.
The room had a Marshall sound system and other amenities. Connecting to Bluetooth and playing soothing music while soaking in the hot spring was incredibly relaxing!
A few minor suggestions: 1. The bathroom could have two floor mats, one for the hot spring area and one for the shower. It's quite slippery after coming out of the hot spring. 2. The bathroom leak wasn't very effective; water would overflow if you showered for too long. 3. For this price and environment, it would be even better if the room had a coffee machine and coffee cups. It would be much more convenient to have coffee in the room or on the terrace in the morning, instead of having to go downstairs and bother the front desk every time.
4. I hope the breakfast could be more varied, with more hot options.
Overall, I was very satisfied with this weekend trip! I will definitely come again!

From the delightful room upgrade upon check-in to the thoughtful and attentive butler service throughout our stay, every detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The butler was both professional and friendly, always there when we needed something, yet also providing us with ample personal space—the service balance was just perfect. The hotel's location is also ideal for families; our child's highlight every day was visiting the squirrel park downstairs. Breakfast was delicious and the commute was convenient. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to our friends and look forward to our next visit!

GGuest UserFrom the moment the first ray of sunshine in the morning shone on Anji, I set out on the road to the hotel. On the way, I received the hotel's check-in instructions, which I felt was very considerate. Then I drove over and found that the environment was really beautiful, especially after the rain in the afternoon. There was a wonderful artistic conception of an empty mountain after the rain. Sitting on the balcony in the middle of the night, cooking our own tea and chatting with friends, it reminded me of Su Shi going to comfort Zhang Huaimin in the middle of the night. The artistic conception was full.
